TVS Motor Company is now offering the option of a front disc brake for their Wego scooter. The scooter is now available in two variants; front disc brake and front drum brake. The front disc brake variant has been priced at Rs 49,157(ex-showroom Delhi) while the front drum brake version will retail for Rs 45,807 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The only other scooter in India which sells with optional front disc brake is Honda Aviator which is priced at Rs 53,531. The TVS Wego is powered by an 110cc engine which produces 8bhp of power and 8Nm of torque.
TVS Motor Company is also planning to launch three new products in 2013 and this will comprise a motorcycle in the executive segment and two automatic scooters. The company is also planning to bring back the “Victor” brand via an upcoming motorcycle.
