Three new Triumph motorcycles have been caught testing by online blog Motorcycle News (MCN). Two of the motorcycles are just an upgrade to their older versions while the third one is a completely new model that’s been added to Triumph’s line-up.
The Tiger Sport 1050 and Thunderbird Storm are being updated, while a new café racer-based motorcycle is being developed based on the existing Bonneville platform.
The Tiger Sport 1050 is being refreshed with a new swingarm and suspension and the Thunderbird Storm will have a revised handlebar design, new wheels and new forks. Triumph must be targeting prospective Harley buyers with their refreshed Thunderbird Storm. With the refreshed Tiger Sport 1050, the company is making a better offering to adventure motorcyclists.
Triumph had showcased their product lineup at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo and is in the process of setting up operations in India. We are expecting Triumph to launch their motorcycles here sometime next year but there is no concrete information about this yet.
