Triumph launched 10 products from their international portfolio for the Indian market last year, on November 28, at a function in Delhi. The company will showcase this entire line-up at the Auto Expo.
The British manufacturer now offers the Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Thruxton, Tiger Explorer, Tiger 800 XC, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Thunderbird Storm, Rocket III and the Daytona 675R in India. The classic Bonneville is the entry-level model priced at Rs 5.7 lakh, while the range-topping Rocket III costs Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Triumph assembles six of these bikes in India at their new facility in Manesar. The Bonneville range, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Daytona 675R and Thruxton get competitive pricing owing to low customs duty. On the other hand, the bigger bikes like the Thunderbird Storm, Rocket III and the Tiger series are currently imported as CBU.
Apart from the motorcycles, they will also showcase the various accessories, riding gear and other services they are currently offering to the Indian consumer.
