Ownership review after 5000 kms plus a road t

Pros:

1) 12-inch tubeless tyres (both front and rear)

2) 6-liter fuel tank

3) best features:

seat adjustment

find me lamps

remote flip key

guide lamps

telescopic front suspension

quick storage compartment near the speed console

front kick

aluminium engine casing (cools down very fast compared to others)

4) top speed is 80kmph (but i managed to hit 85-90kmph, probably i was on a slope :p)

5) the scooter is a bit heavy so does not vibrate at such high speeds and even when the other vehicles overtake is stays steady.

Cons:

1) weight of the scooter is 120kg (might be difficult for some people to handle)

2) the body is made of fibre and not a metal body

3) mahindra is a new brand in the 2-wheeler market, so there might be some trust issues but, i did not find any such.

I had taken the scooter from mumbai to lonavala and did not find any place to complain. Distance is around 136km. And i returned on the same day.

Tips for Mahindra Gusto

Don't let the tank be dry change oil after every 3000 km maintain proper tyre pressure apply both the brakes simultaneously

All the features are good but the servicing terrible. The dealer didn't concentrate on service issues. If the servicing time to time done good then this scooter does not get trouble. I have been facing many problems due to bad servicing.

I'm using gusto since 2017 but since mid 2019 i'm facing problem in self starting and kick starting, rama road center advised me to change the battery i did but after some time same i was facing same issue and i am still facing starting problem. Mileage is too too low. if you have any better options for service is guide me but i will not going to rama road center.

Its servicing is awesome and in the the lowest price you can get the best maintenance ! it has many pros like it has a very smooth running motor and has a adjustable seat, but it could have better engine and battery.

I own three 2 wheelers and that is the biggest mistake i have ever made. Front shockers always feels like "ab gaya, ab to 100% gaya"I guess it is meant to be place in showroom only. Very bad mileage.

It takes more than a week to get the spares from any auto parts dealers, and the success of finding the parts even after that, is not guaranteed. Very few auto spare parts dealers sell the parts of mahindra two wheelers, and there's no guarantee that you will find the parts as soon as you contact these stores. You can find the rarest gemstones easier than finding mahindra two wheeler spares.
