Reviews of Mahindra Duro

I had bought from mahinda showroom,

- buying experience is good.

- riding experience is little bit average, as if you riding other moped you can not feel that much comfortable here.

- looks is okay but not performance.

- servicing is good if you do it in showroom only.

Pros:

1. Looks & height

Cons:

1. Average. I never reached 32 even :(

2. Pickup is too fast, if you new learner, it will be risky for you.

3. If you have less height, you can not be comfortable.

4. Except mahinda showroom, in my city no any mechanic wants to touch this moped.

5. To get the spare parts i need to travel 50-60 km :( as showroom was stooped down.

6. Spare parts are not available every time, need to book it before.

And many more.

So can not go with this moped any more.

This is my second bike of duro dz . I loved it for my lifetime. I would like to ride on Mullayanagiri peak, which is the second highest peak in south India, without any trouble and with good pickup Good one forever, but servicing and maintenance is bad. Could not get spare parts on time and every place.

I have two mahindra duro. One is 6 years old and travelled 25,000 km, single hand usage but it's good compared to my other bike which is 3 year old and travelled around 25000 km. Unfortunately it get s quick repairs and lots of maintenance needed all the time. The resale value is too less. The service centre which i go to is not so good.. Not punctual and not candid in what they say. Sometimes they don't have the spare parts as well and they say it's the first time and it happened more than once.. Am not sure big it's the same all over or it's just my bad luck.

Have been using duro since 8 years. After first 4 years the scooter gives frequent issues - often fails to start. It has fragile spare-parts prone to frequent failure. Worst thing is spares are only available at mahindra showroom. Also no resale value. Never buy this product - consider activa or jupitor. It is waste of money and not at all reliable. Frustrating experience.

This is a worst vehicle and never buy a mahindra branded two wheeler as per my experience, there was no good servicing system, non-availability of spares, low mileage, frequent starting troubles and it discharging the battery within 6 months of new battery. Never buy mahindra two wheelers

Dear sir,I am really a fan of mahindra duro, i love my vehicle mahindra duro scooter like anything because of its pick up and its colour shining. Now around 9 years over still its colour is not fade. Looks like new. My bad luck they stopped manufacturing & it's service. Moreover, it's very economical. The main failure of the vehicle is there is no marketing or advertisement like other scooter companies. That's why there is no boom in selling mahindra duro. Any how happened......My best regards to mahindra group.

I was new to buy a scooty. So brought a duro from mahindra. The scooty is very good for power pick up. Compared to other scooty, duro has very good in pick up and power. But there is problem on mileage. Very poor mileage around 30-40km maximum. I was disappointed but looking at the power and maintenance of the scooty..Is zero. So hassle free maintenance.

I bought this bike from vasai it was ok experience. Duro is not good scooter from day 1 wheel alignment issue i was facing and its authorize service center not able repair that. Maintenance cost is too high(money that i wasted within that you can buy another scooter) parts not available. Its service centers are less and very few mechanics can repair bike. Worst bike.
