PROS: 1) Comfort and leisurely rides with a relaxed, riding position never felt any discomfort (my height 5-11). 2) Mileage: Overall 50 (Got 50+ in eco mode). - In City: 48 (Non Eco mode)3) Good looks definitely a head-turner.4) Mobile app - Easy tracking of your mileage, Location oil change, etc.CONS:1) If u have a heavy pillion it kinda lacks power (if a Normal pillion it is good)2) The gear shift was not smooth initially (After 2nd service it was fixed) 3) Highway: Long rides: - Lacks power after 80+Kmph can feel it kinda struggling (Top speed - 115)(You are NOT going to ride 80+ or 70 + in the city for more than 1km so don't bother about other reviews who cry for that.)

Mileage king

The buying experience was okayish, but since I have shifted from a decade-old hero honda glamour, I fell in love with the comfort, stability, and mileage. It is commendable, how this bike acts and reacts in no time while revving at high or low rvms. If you want to ride a bike, irrespective of the way it looks and on-paper specs, you will be satisfied with it.

Try using Motul 300V/liqui moly street engine oil with waxpol oil treatment. You will get the best possible performance and mileage out of it.

Got Amazing Experience with my Blacky FZ-X 55 km/l mileage
2 years ago

I have ridden around 1200 km in 20 days. Riding experience is awesome. Mileage is 55 km/l. When I ride at 50-70 speed & 50 km/l at speed 80 above. I felt mild vibration on mirror only when I cross 90 speed. Top speed I touched is 107 km/h. It can go 110 plus. Starting stage you can feel the engine heat on your right leg, later I didn't feel it. I purchased Matt Black for 1,49,395 in Tamilnadu Thiruvarur (Dist). Now it has increased by 1000 Rs.. I got 110 km/l in Trip F. So the Trip F fuel may be 1.75 litre to 2 litre (I'm not sure about that). ABS working awesome.

Awesome Mileage and Riding Comfort

It is a good bike for those who rides more than 60 km /day. I was using unicorn before this bike is a good replacement for unicorn. Getting an 62 km/l mileage. Tested two times Via full tank method. Riding comfort is awesome .I am very happy about this bike. Don't go for those negative reviews put by XSR lovers they never saw this vehicle at all. This bike is excellent.

Less power, Less mileage, More gimmick, More cost
2 years ago
Rakesh
I bought this on the first week of launch, at first I didn't check mileage and all, the power is low but still I gone for this for better mileage but after testing I feel like scammed the mileage is below 35 only. Just don't waste your time and money and learning about this bike it doesn't worth it. If you really need to buy Yamaha with good pillion comfort go for fz v3 its atleast cheaper else go for mt15 or r15 v3 which better in every aspect compared to this.
