I purchased this bike in 2013 august. I bought it for my daily use, as i was studying b-tech and i did not want our parents to invest a lot of money for less mileage bikes. Hence i went to buy tvs star city and buying experience was good.

When it comes to riding the riding experience was good and when it comes to shifting gears there was a problem.

It looks good, its silver and black combination. Back tyre lasted for about 4 years, recently changed rear tyre.

When it comes to mileage it was a bad experience for me, as i bought it for daily use i thought it will give at least 65-70 but it was frustrating when i came to know that its 50-55 in normal traffic daily use. After 4 years now its giving 45-50 mileage.

Pros:

Long ride mileage: 70-75

Looks, smooth ride

Cons:

Normal ride mileage: 50-55

My bike is very good i am using it last 11 years. I use my bike for every kind of work. I am a farmer so i use my bike to carry the ferry. I did not serviced in last 2 years. But i didn't found any problem. But i change oil of bike every 3 month. My bike gives me 65 kmpl average. My bike looking very nice. I love my bike.

Well, i bought this bike in the year 2009, and it has been already more then 11 years still it is my best companion on road providing a mileage of around 55-60 km/l. At the time of buying this bike my main objective was to get maximum mileage in minimum cost and it has been delivering me from last 11 years beyond my expectations with low maintenance cost. Recently on 26 oct 2020, i have toured from guwahati to jorhat which is more then 300 km. I have poured petrol of rs. 800 and people may not believe that i did not pour petrol till 1st nov. After that 320 k.M tour i have used my bike to my office on regular basis and on 1st nov only i felt that i need to pour petrol. So, one can travel around 450-500 k.M comfortably with rs. 800 in now days is really surprising and also amazing same time.

Bike is very good in this price. Very comfortable for rider and both. Bike look is very simple but nice. Servicing experience is very good ,TVs service centre workers and managers are so good. Average is so good ( my dislike problem is only acceleration. Overall in this price and segment the bike is so good.

I have purchased the bike tvs start city 110 on june/2017 but as i have check personally mileage given only 52km per ltr, but as per mentioned given mileage 86km per ltr it is fake news really.

Given very bad mileage...

Even i did not ride more than 60 speed.

I bought the first edition of star city. it is now celebrating nearly 14 years. my experience is incredible. giving me 60 km/ l mileage and above. interestingly there is neither engine problems nor gear box problems. ie, not much complaints had occurred till now. i am enjoying the journey with this. only complaint I faced us that there occurred tachometer cable complaint multiple times. I use to service my bike as company recommends. thanks to tvs for such a great work.

I bought tvs star city in year 2012. I rode nearly 40k. Coming to riding experience it was ok. It is ok for daily commutes but when travelled more than 100kms in a day, you may experience back-pain. There are no major repairs till now and i am getting 85+ mileage in highway and 70-75 mileage in city.

Hi, It was 2007! when people were so crazy only about style in bikes, i chose the bike which gives best mileage. Of course, straight away i chose tvs star city. The very first new bike i touched. The never before experience with mammoth excitement. Coz every single paise i spent on that was my own hard earned money. When the showroom executive handed me my very new bike all i had was great happiness with shivering on my hands and legs. Still i find no words to elaborate my happiness which i experienced in that moment when i started to ride my new bike with my dad seated behind. But once i reached home i took every one of my family members for a bike ride. Definitely money can not buy that happiness thanks a ton to makers of the wonderful bike.

The grey color bike made me to feel like that i'm travelling on some shiney metal beast. Had good engine sound. I had great pleasure, each and every time i was riding my bike.At the earlier phase i had good service from the company service centre. But surely not after 2013. But i found some good mechanical workshop and they really making it good every time in case if i get any problems. The bike has given such a wonderful performance. Around 80kms mileage earlier and even now its around 68-70kms on highways and 60kms within city limits. Tvs tyres are the worst tyres i have ever seen in my life. Other than tvs tyres anything is good. This bike has very low maintenance. Easy to wash, changing engine oil. I had good breaking system in my bike even if it rains heavy. Never had any problems still. Even after 10 years my bike is still good to ride. My very first bike my very first love. I couldn't change to any new models as this bike came into my life when i was nothing and made everything good. My lucky angel!

If at all u buy this bike just change the rear tyres as soon as possible(max within 6 months) else u wouldn't know where u would be standing and searching for a puncture shop to service your bike. Nothing can be said as cons if you make checks which are to be done regularly. Awesome bike!
