The Scooty Pep is an entry-level scooter by TVS introduced in 2003 that is aimed at young Indian women. The scooter later received a major revamp and was rebadged as the Scooty Pep Plus. It features compact dimensions and light-weight that make it easy to handle and manoeuvre.
The TVS Scooty Pep+ is powered by an 87.8 cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine which received fuel-injection at the time of BS6 transition. Surprisingly, despite the more constrained emissions, it makes more power and torque than the BS4 model at 5.3bhp and 6.5Nm. The scooter is suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear while braking is done by drum brakes at both ends with Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT).
On the feature front, the Scooty Pep Plus comes with mobile charger socket, side stand alarm, under-seat storage hooks, DRLs, an open glove box and TVS's patented ‘Eazy’ Stand technology, which reduces the effort required to put the vehicle on the centre stand by 30 per cent. The matte finish version comes with few additional features like a 3D emblem, jazzier set of graphics and premium textured seat. TVS has also added a special ‘Mudhal Kadal Edition’. It is specifically made for Tamil Nadu and features the logo in Tamil and a new paint scheme.

It is a small and suitable scooter for ladies. It is a lightweight and quick-start scooter. It is a stylish and reliable scooter. The only drawback is there is no place for keeping your helmet in this scooter. It is mostly preferred by women for city rides. It's a great choice and at optimum cost also.

Scooty Pep - Petit hero

We opted for TVS because of our prior experience with a similar model which lasted us more than 8 years (it was all the rage years back - the scooty pink Pep Plus). When we visited the TVS showroom, the experience was smooth and the sales rep was helpful and offered good options, my sister wanted something small and on the lighter side for her frame so this was suggested as a great option. It has great durability (known from previous experience) and riding experience has been quite smooth. The servicing is also prompt. There were a couple of selections of which we selected blue, it's a nice, not too fuzzy, and not too heavy model for driving through heavy traffic and easy handling. The pros are that it is lightweight, a Trusted brand, Good servicing, and Durability. Holds up when we drive through heavy traffic and long distances every day. The cons are Small frame, Performance, and mileage not comparable to higher models/engines. Overall, a good experience for us and we are happy with the purchase!

Very reasonable rates of pep plus affordable for all. I can keep all luggage in front and dicky enough space to keep bags in this scooter. it's for both men and women. it can carry heavy people too. low maintenance is needed. easy service available and at low rates. pocket-friendly scooter for all. the tyres are strong and don't need to be changed for a long time. the performance is very good. The cons are that it looks like a girly scooter but I feel even men can ride it.

My buying experience is very good, the agents of tvs shroom are very goodRiding experience is very good, the maximum speed is 60 to 65 kn/h and the average is also very goodThe scooty is not heavy, and black colour is very best for this scooty . This scooty can be used by boy or girl, but this vehicle may be good for girls due to lightweight, no gear issueServicing is excellent, they take about 2 hours for servicing.Advantages - 55 to 65 km milage, No gear issue, self start button, two headlights one is yellow and the second is white, stand buzzer, two suspensions in front, boot spaceDisadvantages - only one soccer(suspension) in back, the white headlight is always on in day and night this drain battery, 3.5 liter tank, heat fast.

This bike is not at all useful. Worst service, and less mileage. This bike doesn't have tubeless tires which I have not been told even though the company has not developed a rim for tubeless tyre. World's last bike ever. I don't believe in TVS at all going further. I feel cheated after buying this bike. Ladies will like this bike but maintenance time will be harder.
