Triumph Rocket TFC Concept unveiled

-Limited to 750 units worldwide.

-Gets 2500cc, in-line three engine that produces 180bhp and 230Nm.

-Production version to be unveiled in May.

Triumph has unveiled the Rocket TFC Concept to the world. The motorcycle will be the second model apart from the Thruxton TFC in its ‘Triumph Factory Custom’ range.

The Rocket TFC sports carbon-fibre on its front fender, exhaust shields and windscreen. Furthermore, the bike is limited to 750 units to add to its exclusivity. It also gets a cosmetic makeover and is a stark contrast to the earlier Rocket III. The bike sports twin LED-headlamps in tune with Triumph’s new design language. The straight handlebars, long tank and slightly forward-set foot pegs exude an aggressive power-cruiser stance.  It gets a short rear end that integrates the tail lamp and twin-slash cut exhausts sourced from Arrow. The new Triumph Rocket uses a new frame and a single-sided swingarm that exposes the rear wheel which further adds to the bike’s character.

However, the most important change is the new in-line three cylinder engine that displaces 2500cc and produces 180bhp of power and a humungous 230Nm of torque. The bike is equipped with a full-colour TFT dash similar to the Scrambler 1200 and Speed Twin and we expect it to also come with electronic aids like ride modes, a traction control system and even the GoPro control feature.

While the bike has been unveiled as a concept, it was spotted testing a while ago sans the carbon fibre and Arrow exhausts. Nevertheless, Triumph has also announced that it will be unveiling the production version of the Rocket TFC Concept on 1 May. Ducati, beware.
