The Honda Grazia has been launched in India at Rs 57,897 (ex-showroom). Based on the Activa 125, the Grazia gets the trendy look of a maxi-scooter and is targeted at the urban youth.
The front of the Grazia gets an edgy apron, which makes it look like a bigger version of the Dio. The apron integrates the LED headlamp and turn indicators. The rear section and tail lamp also bear sharp lines in an attempt to hide the bulk. The instrument console integrates two digital displays. A glove box at front includes a 12v socket for a phone USB charger. To improve utility, the ignition slot allows you to open the 18-litre underseat compartment. However, the fuel cap is still located under the seat.
The Grazia is based on the same underbone chassis as the Activa 125. At its heart is a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 8.4bhp and 10.5Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission. The Grazia rides on telescopic front forks and rear monoshock. It gets a 12-inch tubeless tyre at the front and a 10-inch wheel at the rear. The front gets an optional 190mm disc brake, while braking at the rear is taken care of by a drum unit. Honda’s proprietary combi braking system (CBS) is available as standard.
The Grazia is available in six paint schemes – orange, black, red, white, grey and blue. It is available in three variants - Standard, Alloy and Deluxe. The Alloy variant is priced at Rs 61,466 and the Deluxe variant is priced at Rs 63,888 (both ex-showroom). It competes against the Suzuki Access 125 and the Aprilia SR 150.
