Excellent looks and great riding experience...I have never seen such a great performance bike like this...Worth money and it is far better than royal enfield classic 350...If you are looking for hills traveling and enjoying on mountains like nainital, haridwar etc. Then i would recommend you to go for this...5 out of 5 star.

I am facing constant mechanical failure from my jawa bike. Since the time of purchase, I am facing n number of challenges that weren’t rectified properly. And takes time to resolve.
In a span of six months, I have towed my vehicle to the service station three times due to mechanical failure.
Talking about the last incident my vehicle was towed to the service center due to mechanical failure. They said it would take three days to repair, however, it took two weeks to repair. After these two weeks, I received a call from the service center saying the vehicle is ready. When I received the vehicle from the service center the front brake was not effective even after changing the brake pad during the service. The total amount for the service was inr 22,000. I was surprised by the fact that even the brake was not rectified properly after changing the brake pad and charging a ‘labor charge’ for each individual item replaced or repaired and on top of that paid service charge and consumable charges.
I notified the service manager and they took the vehicle for inspection again. An hour later the manager informed me that it would take one more day. I returned to work from there. The vehicle was delivered to my workplace after a day saying it is in perfect condition now. The vehicle was not properly rectified even after that. While riding, the vehicle is getting off and not getting started. I took a video and informed the service manager. The same process happened again. They came took the vehicle, said it is rectified, and delivered it a day later. Again the same story. The same mechanical issue isn’t rectified. Informed them and they took my vehicle to the service center again.
In these three years of owning this vehicle, I have spent almost half the vehicle cost on services and repairs. This is my only vehicle and I depend on it on a daily basis for all my travel be it for work or other purposes. While comparing the ownership cost of other bikes in this category I feel that my choice to buy a Jawa product was a disaster. I feel cheated of my hard-earned money.

1. Buying experience was ok not bad. But I've had a much better experience with brands like bajaj, tvs and so on. Clearly the dealers in vizag have a lot to improve.
2.initial riding experience was catastrophic as the dealer did not prepare the bike properly and gave me with an over tight fork which caused oversteer in turns and almost caused a fall. Even till date I've been visiting the service to get it rectified. All they do is tighten and loosen the fork. I am just getting fed up now. Even small bumps on the road are causing imbalance. Not at all confident inspiring. Suspension is on the stiff side. Seat comfort is not bad at all. I don't have any complaints regarding that.
3. Looks wise it is cool and gets heads turning almost everywhere. Performance is good but not refined. Handling is average. Power is delivery flats out mid range but good pick up. Bs6 exhaust note is good though a bit calm and relaxed.
4. The servicing is the biggest issue i feel. There a lot of ecu errors which might render the bike lifeless. Battery died out in the first week and got replaced by the dealer. My jawa42 has some major handle bar / fork issues which the service centre is not able to rectify. They just keep giving stupid reasons like i should maintain correct air or should not drive too fast over pot holes ( which i never do). I am looking to take up this issue directly with the company.

good to see the old school design born again,
it should have provided rear disc too.
but this can't replace the charm of 2 stroke road king.
engine is of mahindra mojo, which has at least better performance than the royal Enfield.
proper after sales support will make this brand rule the roads once again.

This was really amazing bike, i really like the performance of this bike great pickup, according to me this is best bike in this segment or price range, great comfort with dashing looks. Overall a bike with great horse power and dashing looks with great features . If I am talking about mileage so I am live in Delhi and Jawa 42 gives me around 30 km/l in city and highway around 35-38 km/l.

I absolutely love this machine. It is absolutely a fantastic bike. No issue with the bike for me at all. Just go to your nearest showroom and take a test ride, I promise you, that you will absolutely love this machine, it was the best looking bike in 300-400 category segment and it gives a direct competition to it's rivals.

The bike is a perfect example of a classic . If you want a bike with modern engine with a classy feel and looks this is the one which you just can't ignore. Way better than royal enfield, thunderbird, classic 350 and 500 in every aspects. Performance is better but if a rider rides it with a pillion then the ground clearance significantly reduces even in small bumps it's contacts with the ground. The main body isn't touching it's the center-stand . If you remove it then there is no issue. Other than that the bike is lighter which is good and faster compared to re's classic and benelli's imperiale.
