Reviews of Honda Activa 4G

I am writing this review after a riding experience of 1yrs

so activa is the most trusted and reliable scooter from year 2000 when honda launched this scooter right

but today i am giving you the truth review of activa 3g

pros

1) reliable engine! engine is super smooth and refined

2) pickup is good not very good

3) servicing is cheap and spare parts are easy available

4) headlamps are good

5) exhaust sound is good

6)seat is very soft and well cushioned

cons

1) mileage is very low only 40_45kmpl

2) tyers are small

3)poor suspension

4) stability is not good at high speeds(every one will over take you easily on highways)

5)seat storage is smaller then other 110cc scooter

5)lack of styling

6)poor quality buttons on handle bar

now i will only say that if your age is 50+please do not buy this scooter because suspensions are very poor and old after driving for 30mins on bad roads ur back will start paining..

So guys if you want a trusted and reliable scooter go for it but truth is that maestro and jupiter is far better than this scooter

so think before you buy

The activa 4g is good bike and speed is also good and only problem is with this bike is average i m not getting what average was committed to me only 40 average is giving my bike i m disappointed with mileage other wise running on any kind of road is very good u can take any where and long distance who much your capacity is there for ridding

I searched for reviews about its real mileage on the internet after i purchased this bike, and i was little worried because many of 4g users had given a bad reviews about it's mileage.

I was not happy after reading the reviews and decided to find out it's real average by following formula: (which is given by honda company on the user safety and regulatory manual)

1. Get your scooter tank full of fuel

Now record the odometer reading, lets say its 1000 kms.

2. Now ride your scooter normally till at least half the tank’s fuel has been consumed.

Now again record the odometer reading, lets say its 1180 kms.

3. Now get your scooter tank full again.

And record the amount of fuel which is getting into the tank, lets say its 3 ltrs. To have your tank full again.

Now you have kms (1180 - 1000 = 180 kms) & 3 ltrs.

So, the mileage would be 180/3 = 60 kms/ltr.

Before first service of my bike, it was giving me average of 48km/l.

And after first service it is giving me average of 54km/l. I am satisfied now. So, don't believe in rumors and enjoy your ride..!

I bought this vehicle for my personal use, mostly to drive in weekends. Jan 11th i bought this 4g and till now i ridden only 800 km. One free service done and going to give for the 2nd service. My scooter makes me trouble in starting. Some days i am getting tired on using kick-start and going by other public transport. It makes me disappointment morning itself and also now days riding gets vibrates. I am maintaining my scooter by washing and riding in an economy speed. But it's make me sad when the performance like this. Honda please provide the good service and makes the product better. Don't spoil the brand name. Because people believed that much in your brand!

I have very bad experience from the first week of purchasing it...There is always sound like something is loose fitted in it...And has very low average and the tires ....Very cheap quality it has....It got punctured by a very very small spike also ...I am keep facing many more problems from the beginning...So don't buy it.....Can i have a solution of all these...As i have done many complaints about my scooty in the service center too.

I have owned this scooter for 5 months now and have ridden about 4000 kms. The buying experience was satisfactory, however you have to incur some extra costs on accessories. I use it for daily commute to office and it's easy to drive in city traffic. Activa's look has always been the same appealing. The performance is quite good and is enough if you are a normal commuter and not a heavy user or a rider. Honda has many service centers and hence maintenance is not an issue. Overall it's a complete package you could get for a scooter in the price range.

Activa is very comfortable 4 stroke scooter segment in india. But there is a very big problem of mileage.I am driving activa last 7 year"s.I service my activa timely but i had not got mileage i.E. 30Km/liter which is very costly.This is very friendly in our city and suburb"s damage roads driving.This will also good in every weather.

It is a nice scooty easy to control it had metallic colour ours white it is a family bike having good break system easy to start many service center presented looking cool it gives good mileage up-to 50 . Its top speed is 90 it is easy to take goods from bike it has great bike i never experienced.Nice bike.
