1. Buying experience

My buying experience is very good on my nearest showroom of honda(ashoka honda dhampur).

I am going to buy activa 110 because activa 110 is very popular in our area but when i see this(activa 125) on showroom i want to buy this because i loved his looks and it's newly launched at this time so i am never seen this scooty on road .

When i come with this scooty on my area everyone look back to this

When i am confused on black and blue colour but i chose black over blue and my choice is right (because when i wash my scooty it's look like new after 3 years of daily use)

2.Riding experience

riding is very comfortable on poor roods as well as in city and highway and breaking is very nice after 17250 km.

3.Performance and looks

I like his looks and my neighbour also like his looks and performance is very constant. After driving 3 years pickup is as well as new . Performance is not compromised in this scooty.

I am riding this on highway 90 kmph speed and scooty is very stable at that speed .

4.Servicing and maintenance

Service experience is very good on honda showroom . I am done 6 services on their and never disappointed with their service.

I am registered with amc (annual maintenance contract) . Dealer give me 2 additional free wash every year.

After 12000km i replaced rear tire of my activa. And expect services my scooty never going to showroom for extra maintenance. I am happy with this

5. Pros and cons

Pros

(i) very comfortable and powerful

(ii)front suspension is telescopic and wheel is 12 inch( very good on bad roads)

(iii) little heavy but very stable if truck and passes near you( lighter scooty is dis-balanced at that time)

(iv) service due indicator

(v) looks is very good

(vi) mileage is 45-50 very good on 125cc scooty

Cons

(i) fuel filling cap is inside of seat

Past six months i brought this vehicle from kannur pm honda kerala, today vehicle silencer broke down, don't buy this vehicle, silencers break on roundly, like same knife cutting type, i think this vehicle is passing 100 km per day, so heating is main element of cut this silencer, in this pm honda service staff told to me wait 2 days in this silencer parts is not available , my vehicle hold on 2 days in this service centre, i am totally disappointed for buying this vehicle, i am sharing this information to new customers , please don't buy this activa 125 scooter.

I have purchase activa 125 scooty on 05/11/2018 that having so much i have been complaint this on service centre But no proper action taken on it. I feel so guilty to buy this. I have been complaining after the 3rd service but no proper service is given and i went 4 times to service centre after the service but day by day they created new problem in my scooty.

After 2+ years with suzuki access, it was time for replacement. Though i initially considered jupiter, bought access 125 with basic expectations. The delivery experience was not something great to write about. Honda sales people think they are doing us a favour by selling their products.

Comfort is not something that should be expected from this scooter. Suspension is just decent, seat comfort also is just about good. Ride quality and handling is good for short commutes. Daily commute for distance more than 20kms will take a toll on your body.

The thing i hate most about this scooter is the cold start. Be it any season starting the scooter after few hours rest is always an effort. You have to crank it for at-least 10 mins before it cranks up after a lot of retaliation. I actually noticed this issue with a lot of activa's.

The one thing i like about activa 125 is it's styling. I prefer it to any other scooter in the market today. It seems timeless and will age pretty well.

Refinement has always been a positive point in a honda and it is the same even for activa 125. Performance is ok, but we shouldn't expect significant difference between activa 4g and activa 125. Low end and mid range power is good. After speeds about 80kms the power tappers off and though you wack-up the throttle completely, you barely see it being translated to speed, all you feel is the scooter respond with discomfort.

Brakes especially the drum variant are a major disappointment. Please don't get convinced withe sales person's advise of "disc variant is not suited for ladies...." i urge anyone considering activa 125 to go with disc brake variant. Drum brakes are not confident inspiring.

Activa 125 comes with either tvs or mrf tyres. Mine came with tvs tyres which are again not confident inspiring i would suggest to upgrade them.

It is easy to maintain activa 125. I never had to pay more than 600+ rupees for a service. Spare parts are reasonably priced. But again honda service personal feel they are doing you a favour by servicing your scooter.

Overall, activa 125 is a refined, good looking simple scooter best suited for short sprints. Don't expect too much out of it.

Riding experience is better than other scooters in the market and its comfortable also and with its new model honda dlx 125 with its disc break gives us a very good combi brake system by which the scooter does not get slipped at all .

Looks are awesome with the new led light and metal body and disc brake with 12 inches of wheel with alloy .

Performance : pick up is very good it has 8.5 Bhp and as soon we slow down it again we can run in the normal speed pickup not like other scooters lazy .

Service is also good .

Maintenance is also good.

Only one major problem is mileage.

It gives only 30-35 thats is not more than that i have purchased a brand new vehicle after its new launch on march 2017 with bs4 .

Mileage is poor. Only 32 kmpl from the date of purchasing. Even after adjusting the mileage , after 2nd service its coming the same 32kmpl. I went to test the mileage in a honda service centre. They seem to cheat. They took me for a ride taking 150ml petrol and told me that they tested the mileage with 100ml only and its coming 50kmpl which is very ironic.

Well, just like a typical Indian family, we too consider buying something important and expensive thing like a vehicle on an auspicious day and being in bengal what better day than durga puja, when you get host of other offers along with it.So, i purchased this scooty in 2015 during the puja at around rs. 65,000 and as expected experienced a huge rush in the showroom but the salesperson were well prepared to handle the customers and with the help of them i was able to book my scooty but got delivery a week later as the colour of my choice (black) was not available with them.Now, activa as we know has become a name synonymous with scooty irrespective of the model or even brand.With activa comes reliability which means the ride quality is superb and with the 125 cc engine you get the best of both worlds, that is, the honda brand and the speed and pickup which the decade old activa lacked.It is very smooth to ride on and has never bothered me in these 3 years of joyful ownership.The design was not changed much from the previous activa. That is what makes it a good choice for the diverse Indian audience.It sticks to the idea of practicality and is great for city usage as the boot space is not compromised and neither the space on the deck where you may easily place a shopping bag.It can also easily touch the speed of 80 kmph without any hiccups thereby giving a sense of adventure in the scooty segment.6 services are offered for free and then after you are advised to carry on with the authorised service centre if the scooty is still in warranty.Pros:-Activa being a popular model, you will easily find its spare parts easily.It has a good pickup and speed.Offers good amount of storage space.Good legroom unlike many other sportier scooters offered nowadays in 125 cc category.Cons:-To self start you need to pull the left brake a bit harder than other scooters which makes it difficult for the young age riders.Mileage is a bit on the lower side(35-40 kmpl) with claimed mileage of 54kmpl.

Buying experience is good but when you ride it feels jerky and not comfortable it vibrates a lot very poor mileage i have filled the tank mostly full but after 10 lmao of riding it shows only two lines. I suggest you to buy activa 5g or ntorq but do not buy this. It's looks are pretty good but in old activa 125 it comes with yellow headlamps and white delight and this does not looks good on road but this issue is cleared in new activa 125.
