Reviews of Hero Xtreme 200R

I had been looking for a bike which costs around one lakh after searching many bikes i finally shortlisted 3 bikes tvs apache 1604v, honda unicorn and xtreme (not hornet because of its aggressive looks ) . I finally selected xtreme,mainly because of abs(single channel working efficiently) at a cost of 1,13,000(5yrs nil dip) i think it lowest in this segment. When it comes to riding great experience upto 90k/hr but lags after that. But overall performance is good with low maintenance as my first servicing cost me about rs.450(oil change). As Indians we mostly talk about mileage i was stunned to see 50kmpl (on highway 60-80 km/h) local 35-40. Pros 1)cost 2)engine 3)breaks abs(front)4)ride quality while cornering 5)suspension Cons 1)outdated design (if someone suddenly see it looks like glamour)2)rear disk (not good but ok)3)mirrors.

Best sports commuter with good comfort level for both rider and pillion ,not fast as other 200ccs but highly refined engine along with super handling ,for sporty kids who needs regular high speed racing it's not a go to bike but for daily commuting it is best bike as it fits the purpose which it is built for.

I bought the bike after considering almost 6 months and many bikes including famous brands. Firstly the bike is heavy and it suits my body, the seat is broad and soft. In comparison of other 200cc bikes this bike has a sober look, which is good for me as i'm a teacher by profession.Interestingly i took it for really long ride for almost 200 kms from bhilwara to udaipur right after 5 days i purchased it.I'm riding it daily since 3 months and i've found no problem till now. Overall i'm enjoying the bike.Hero motocorp has maintained the legacy.Congratulations to hero for the wonderful bike.

Best bike ever in this price range and competes with bikes even upto 1.6 lakhs range. Hero has prioritized all the important elements and given supper quality emphasis on them. While compromising on not so important features to cut down cost. This makes it the best value for money for buyers. You are getting the goodies of a 1.5 plus lakh bikes in less than 1 lakh. The wheel, suspension, engine, chassis disc brakes, abs are premium class even though they have compromised of instruments, lights and stands which aren't that important because what has been given does the job well. Many inferior bikes are way much more expensive than this one because they are giving too much priority to not so important features like electronics stuffs, plastic decorations etc which increase the cost excessively thus giving less value for your money. You have to pay heavily on unnecessary blinkers and glitters on those bikes.It is the best bike in handling and performance comparing to any other bikes i have driven. The engine sound is so thrilling. Even though the top speed has been limited to less than 120, it makes up for it by the powerful torque output. It is beast in highways and even hilly areas because of that. Because of its excellent handling ability, it can take medium curves comfortably even at the speed of 80kmph which is impossible for most bikes. The abs is a plus that adds enormously to the already superb handling ability. I am very sure, that i can easily beat pulsar 220f or any other bikes under 250cc in any kind of road race. It has offroad capability. The bike has a perfect body weight to power ratio which gives a stable and confident ride even at a very high speed. Bikes like yamaha r15 are very dangerous because the weight is too light for its given power which makes it unstable in high speed and curves. It feels like like the faster it goes, the better the handling ability.Only fools will complain about the ordinary headlights, blinkers and speedometer. Let them pay heavily on other bikes for those expensive headlamps and get inferior performing bikes with double expenditure. Those modern gadgets don't last very long anyways and is very expensive to replace.The only cons that i have observed is the ordinary exhaust pipe. Didn't give 5 stars on looks and design because of that. They should have given a sporty and more premium one. The alloy wheels are first class including the wide tyres both front and back.Since i contributed money to help my friend buy this bike, i have ride it quite often. Actually i lost interest in bike many years back and went into indulge in cars as i grew older. But this bike has revived the passion in me. I am waiting for the new upcoming hero 300cc bike which looks similar but much more premium. I will test drive when its launched and buy it if is as good as i am expecting. Way to go hero! you have given the best for the customers and you deserve the best from the customers.Hero! keep creating more bikes like this one and you will rule the two wheelers market forever. Hoping it will become the best seller as people gets to know it. . Other company may now what pleases the eye of customers but hero knows exactly the need of customers. Buy it! satisfaction guaranteed ..

But is that a good enough in this segment @ that price hero offers single channel abs which gives us good braking experience and fuel efficiency practically good at highway its hive 40-45 kmpl at speed 70-90 km/h.Overall bike value for money product This bike not for those who think racing sport bike hero offers daily commute easy to handle bike.

I purchased this bike today, and it is vfm bike, good handling, pick up is also great. Very smooth engine bike, very less noise from engine, gear shifting is little bit hard for new bikes but after-all it's good. And about mileage it's give 43-45kmpl max. So, over all great bike for daily commute and highway riding for 1-2 times in week. Go for this bike because quality is up to the mark. This is not like bajaj, tvs. It's really good bike. Thanks.

Very impressive and look is very nice and mileage is also better than other 200cc bikes it's about 44.4kml so i like this bike so much and also i have purchased also.I will also suggest to buy this bike to other people also. Abs system is very impressive for those persons who know the present, nowadays we are speeding our bike incase of taking full brake it will auto control the vehicle by abs system.

I had a nice buying experience with this bike 1.Looks are nice2.It gives a descendant mileage 3.It's high-end torque is a bit low but it is manageable and it has a nice low-end torque which is nice for city traffic4.It gives a mileage about 40-44 kmpl5.It has a nice 200cc reliable engine which can also be used for long term useage6.It has abs braking also. 7.Overall it is a nice bike in 200cc segment at its price point.

After one week great proud to say i become the owner of the bike.The great look of 200r attract me and all my friend then after.The performance is super and i have no words to say about abs break system.I request all the riders to test it and enjoy its comfort and safety.Thank you hero to give us such a powerful and comfortable bike.I have a request,you should give some more publicity about this bike in the society.No doubt hero xtreme 200r is the no.1 bike available in the Indian market which can satisfy all the ambitions of an above average rider.
