Performance is good, but looks not satisfying me, like headlamp not ok, both tyre size too narrow. Hmcl should noted that if 150 cc category is like that, then deluxe category how much. You are focusing 150cc segment, in this category customer are different from deluxe category, think about to renovate this model as soon as possible.

  • Best 150cc bike currently

    Ujjwal Srivastava

Its comfortable, smooth ride, looks classy which in my point of view is better than sporty, black shade of this bike is best it appeals, overall the only and only con is thin tyres and analogue meters. Though thin tyres are not very thin and provide reasonable handling and good mileage.

Though there are analogue meters but they don't look outdated.

Most of all the best thing is comfort for both rider and back sitter.

As no ride is good when no one's behind you.

  • Hero achiever a blunder by hero.

    Lokesh B

    1. Bought this on 11 Nov 2016, no hassles in buying 0. After that the struggle began. 2. The mileage has never been more than 42 in this entire time of owning it. The company claims 60+ kmpl, let me tell you. It is false. After doing 5 services also and complaining every time about the mileage, it never improved. Seat had a problem and was not fixed properly for first 1 month, that got fixed in 1st service. In first service, the i3s was not working and the mechanic fixed it.Gearbox is the worst hero could have made, from 1st to second it gets stuck in traffic at neutral and you may get hit by a speeding vehicle from behind. Also, to bring it to neutral from 4/5th gear becomes really difficult at times. The gearbox is so coarse. The room for improvement is bigger than a stadium. The rear tyre makes it very risky on turns because of its sleekness. I slipped on a rainy day on a slow speed on turning.3.The looks are not at all impressive, because of rear tyre looks really ugly. It feels choked at a speed above 55kmph as if it is not built for higher speed than that, although i rarely sped beyond that. Come on is it a 150 cc bike. The fuel tank rubber under the lid keeps coming out almost every time i fill petrol. In this range, better buy a passion than achiever, do not know why hero tried to revive it. It was a failure then and a failure now too. They must concentrate on 100, 110 , 125cc segment only.Pros: Brand name of hero, price(you have bajaj v(150 cc) priced in similar bracket, which has got really nice looks and broad rear tyre for good grip too) Cons: Poor looks(designed like a moped)Poor mileage Gearbox I3s does not help much in fuel consumption Seat is not properly fitting Very bad rear tyre, makes the bike look so ugly and more importantly risky to ride.

    Makarand Kadam

I enjoyed very well to buy this bike..And i am satisfy in this 150cc..And a very excellent bike..Value for money.I enjoy to cruise this bike on the speed of 80 to 90 kmph...Love to ride at high speed..Even the engine also not overheating..Riding in city is fell like a maturated bike and give a good response..The gearbox of this bike is very very very much smooth and reliable gear box and engine..Well made bike for long trip and short ride also and for a little bit off riding..Also..The performance is good i got 40 to 45 mileage in city and on highway i get 63 to 67 on long trip..I m very proud owner of this bike..I like to own another bike is hero only..In maintenance this bike is king for cheap maintenance and for average service from hero...Pros..1) bike is good for long routes in low budget..Its goes 709 kilometres in 1000rs petrol i tested at the ride on my goa trip...2) bike not vibrating at the speed between 70 to 90 kmph on the highway..Its cruises easily..3) seat is very comfortable for any kind of person..Its very large size seat for rider and pillion also..3) the small tyre is excellent for gaining the average of the bike for long routes..Even its not slip in rainy season also..4) bike throttle gives confidence to ride the bike in speed also and for cruising also..The pickup of the bike is same like other 150cc model its goes very smoothly and very refinery..5) front brake is very powerful to stop the bike in proper way.Bike hold the road in long trip road..Cons...1) bike looks is average..Its descent in her look..Its looks like for normal riding only..But not like it is..2) bike head lamp focus is not better for long trip..You want to mount some extra light on the bike..

  • Best mid range bike

    Padmanabh Saikia

Its the first bike my father bought to me. And i suggest this to everyone thinking to have a mid range bike as it suits for every age group. It can easily cover 150 km without having to stop as i have gone only that far don't know beyond that. The looks is good compared to other mid range bike. Mines 6 years old but still have disc brakes which gives good performance and also mileage above 65kmpl on my bike its old maybe new one gives more. No cons at all. Try it will not be dissatisfied

Riding experience good . Performance comes out after 60 kmph speed you love it . Drawback narrow rear tyre but it is useful for better mileage. You can get at lesser price compare to other 150cc bikes. It looks are not that much if you compare with other bikes ,it's a quality product from hero fully durable trust worthy.

    Prakash

Riding with achiever is very smooth and even at 70-80 kmph the bike was not showing any issues. Looks of the bike are really impressive and is cut out for daily and long commutes. I was really impressed with the mileage capability with such features and lightness of the weight. At present my bike is giving close to 50 kmpl which is really good for such a bike.

  • Nice but lot of improvements required

    Shobhit

The rear tyre is too narrow and there are much possibilities of skidding at wet roads.Gearbox is also not that smooth which was said. Sometimes gear stuck and you'll not be able to find neutral. I3s is a good innovation which helps you in saving a little petrol in crowded areas like bengaluru. Mileage is good. Overall it's look is not in proper proportion.

  • After riding 1.5 year a honest review

    John Bhatt

Bought this bike on 2018 diwali (dhanteras day). It is my first bike. I used this bike to go to office which is approx 20 km from my residence, so roughly 40 km a day. May be benefit of my height, i never feel uncomfortable while riding. I rode this bike more than 200 km a day on multiple occasions and never been problem. Pickup is quite good, if you are riding single, you can cross 100 kmph, i achieved top speed of 107 kmph. Riding with a pillion it will go upto 100 kmph but not higher.

    Jyotiranjan Patra

Performance is good, but looks not satisfying me, like headlamp not ok, both tyre size too narrow. Hmcl should noted that if 150 cc category is like that, then deluxe category how much. You are focusing 150cc segment, in this category customer are different from deluxe category, think about to renovate this model as soon as possible.
