The Discover 100 is the most affordable bike in the Discover range. This entry- level commuter model is the only model left in the series that needs a facelift. The overall styling of the bike is basic but the decal that runs across the bike gives it a little modern look. Certain features like the alloy wheels, headlamp with twin pilot lamps makes it a good entry- level bike to buy.
The Discover 100 is powered by a single-cylinder 94.38cc air-cooled engine that churns out 7.5bhp at 7,500rpm and a maximum torque of 7.85Nm at 5,000rpm. This engine comes with an option of two transmissions – four-speed and five-speed, both with all down gear-shift pattern.
Bajaj claims an ARAI fuel efficiency of 91kmpl which is very impressive. With a fuel tank capacity of 8-litre, the bike can travel for almost 700 kms before needing a refuel. The bike is available in four colours- Midnight Black & Blue, Black Green, Midnight Black & Red and the Flame Red.
The average of the Discover 100 is 69 kmpl, as per the owners of the bike.

Pros: First of all i had using that bike for more then 5 years and it is really very low maintenance bike few services only mainly in the starting. The bike look is very good now looks that old and it is more powerful and muscular then any other 100 cc bikes. And second is that it has a good pick up also.(and the thing that i like the most it has five gears and all in a single row)economy is average atleast 60. Cons: The battery battery will not last for long.Nor it had a very powerful head lamp. However you should go for it and buy.....

Bajaj discover dtsi is it worth or not
Tanay Pratap Singh
I have purchased bajaj discover 100 dtsi, the bike had a unique design for the comfort, but is it is definitely not a bike on which you can commute 60-70 or more km. Although most of the bajaj bike specially in in 150 cc comes up with pretty much rough and tough attitude but discover isn't one of them. You can not ride it fast even on highways, it will start shagging away and you will develop a fear to fall off, the bike does not stay stable at above 60kmph. The bike does come up with the nos suspension but seem to have no use, the suspension of the bike get into bad condition only after using it for 2 years.

Low Budgetary Better Quality Bike

Low budget. Nice bike . I am using for last 6 years since it's launch in 2012 November. But after running more than 15000 KMS, losing pick up and mileage. Riding is very smooth with no sound. recently I got Engine zam, but it is my fault for not proper maintenance. Even though this bike is superb in gear change, ease of use, no complication.

1)considering the price level,it is very helpful to middle class family and students and also farmers.2)riding experience is best. Bcz engine sound is very smooth and noiseless.3)considering the part of looks and performance is ultimate, bcx look is simply good and road performance is also good like road grip and breaking condition.4)no doubt about servicing and maintenance, bcz basically it is low maintenance bike. But basic service is needed to all bikes.5)everything is good expect chain pocket sound. Resale is super.
