Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox with the engine rc is too refine and had a better pickup with the hp of 43.
Ride quality & handling it is awesome with the the look & the the handling of the bike is too good than ninja.
Final words overall it is a super bike for me.

Every time i get on the bike it amazes me. The power always give the adrenaline. The seat is a little on the hard side as its a track oriented bike, if you have the passion and love towards super sport models then you can live with it. Riding in city traffic is bit paining for wrist and fingers due to frequent gear shifts. According to the showroom you need to ride the bike at least for 5 to 10 mins once or once in two days to keep the battery from discharging.
Look wise the bike is amazing, some find the drl ugly but i personally love then. I liked the 2016 paint scheme more than the latest.
Servicing of the bike has long gaps. And not much maintenance if you ride it well..
Pros:

Its acceleration is in the first was really good but later there was some lagging in the gearbox
Stunts and all are a no go with this bike.
And to conclude buy this bike if u have the guts to control this beast in the heavy traffic

Its style is good and awesome.
Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox engine is smoother to ride and performance is also good this bike has a373 cc motor so its fuel economy 20-30 is good and outstanding and gearbok is also good.
Ride quality & handling ride quality is also good and handling is superb and nice 2.30 Laks rupees the bike is good.
Areas of improvement the ceat should be improvent.

I own a ktm rc 390 with slipper clutch from October, 2016. The bike is my daily commute to my collage and i have some long rides as well like vizag, gurudongmar lake (sikkim), puri (odhisha) etc.
Its been amazing with this bike. On highways its gives 35kmpl and at city 25-28kmpl.
Servicing and maintenance of regular service is around 2000/-.In which motul 10w50 engine oil will cost you 1200/- for 1.5 ltrs and if someone opt for going to motul 300v then the engine oil only will cost around 1800/-
Its amazing for highways and also did pretty well on gurudongmar's harsh terrains (but tires are a factor on those conditions).
The looks of the bike is sleek and it can cut through traffic like a hot knife through butter despite being a faired bike.
The stock metzellers will last around 12000-15000kms depending upon your riding style.
The abs is really a life saver in the streets of the country where nothing is unexpected. From people to animals, anyone can become a Olympic level jumper here and suddenly comes in front of you. The abs saved me on several occasions.
The braking had a wooden feeling which is eliminated in the 2017 variant.
Its a goliath which means by bible is a person or a thing with great power.Pretty happy with it.

My dream buy ktm rc390 but i have short out few problem of my friend bike ktm rc 390 2017 model
1.It is not comfortable in city travelling.
2.Not good mileage.
3.Not good tyres in this segment bike.
4.Not faster than 2016 model.
So looks is great rc 200 or 390 but i want, these to be solved.

areas of improvement ktm lovers go for ktm rc 390 and im sure ul love it its an beast with comfort riding no more hearting complaint like duke

Don't think first have it you will know it
