Its cost is high but it gives racing feeling because ktm is sports bike company. Its look is like a fantastic and attractive one before all bikes. Its service and maintenance is also done well. When we go to the ktm showroom, they give more preference for the customers and taking a good care on the customers.

Starting with the looks the motorcycle looks drop dead gorgeous , orange frame and wheels go so well with the matte black all around(i own 2016 model). Head lamp housing may seem peculiar at first but it grows on you(wrapping over the visor helps a great deal) and the tail section is by far one of the best i have seen on an Indian motorcycle. Led indicators are 'oh so beautiful' and front ones are neatly integrated with mirrors. Instrument cluster hosts plethora of info, i only wish it was bigger in size nevertheless it does it's job clean and crisp.
Coming to ride and handling, i would say this is the forte of the motorcycle, the trellis frame, the shorter wheelbase and front biased weight distribution all aid for a superb handling package. Riding ergonomics are sporty i'm sorry extremely sporty?? but this aids for handling and one will get used to the riding posture after say a month or so. Having said that 5 feet 5 inches tall and below would feel too hunched over to the bars and in that sense i wouldn't recommend for riders below the aforementioned. Pillion seat is well cushioned(even more than rider seat ) but only con is the seat being so up high so i wouldn't recommend long stints with pillion but within the city limits it's a thumbs up for pillion. Continuing with the handling aspect one can actually do a knee down on this without scraping the belly pan or fairing and if you are into cornering and call yourself a cornering junkie then this bike will be your best bet.
Performance: the motorcycle excels here as well. The torque is spread throughout the rev range and the motor feels frantic to hit the red line every-time you pin the throttle. Gearing is on a shorter side so we quickly move up the gears which adds to the frantic nature of the bike. There is ample power for the overtaking manoeuvres and brakes are potent too. The stock mrf tyres are good but require a bit warming up to do to get complete grip out of them. Coming back to engine there is an electronically set speed limiter at 137kmph but that aids for engine life in a long run and practically speaking we hardly touch that speed even when going for leisure rides, unless it's a long straight stretch which is difficult to find in Indian roads.
So to sum up the motorcycle is jaw dropping good looking, comes equipped with top notch hardware (upside down forks, aluminium swing arm, radial brakes etc) and handles like a dream thanks to ride ergonomics. And engine is a screamer, the power delivery and shorter gearing adds up to fun motorcycle. I don't find much cons in the motorcycle but if i really have to nitpick i would say tires lack grip and rear locks up under hard braking and rider seat is a stone (can add few layers of foam to make it 'usable') and that's it for the cons. This is one awesome motorcycle and i like the ktm ethos they haven't just flapped a fairing on duke and called it a sport bike but instead they have made one.
Thank you

The service in the shop after sale is good. But the products for spare parts is so costly. This not good for long rides as it has bent structure. It is of 200cc good for leisure looks .The bike has advantages and disadvantages. It sounds like an auto rickshaw. It has electric starter and will be difficult for some cases. This built fully with fiber. Once it is met with an accident the bike will split into parts. It is a 4 stoke bike.
It has 6 gears .Looks are good . For family members ,the feel this bike has a waste of money. The performance will depend upon the user .For every one their bikes are precious whether its ktm or bajaj or anything.
All bikes are good and bad in there on ways .
Ktm rc 200 is suitable for leisure ride and not for long rides.

I bought this bike 1.5 years ago, it was i gift from dad to me, in 1st week only i gave it for service as i completed 1050km in 1st week.
Its a fun bike to ride you can ride it for 6-7 hours comfortably if you are above 5.10 feet. Your pillion won't be comfortable for long ride due to its super-sport riding position. Its seat is some what hard but you can fix it by addition cushioning
Its looks are the best part of it, its surely a head turner bike, it has best performance among 200cc motorbike available in market now, you can easily cruise on 100-120 with minimal amt. Of vibration on foot pegs,
It gives 3 free services, and then 550 per service, in 2nd service you need to change fluids which will cost around 2400inr, accidents will cost you much but if you have insurance then don't worry you can change parts which are not damaged with by convincing the workshop manager. You need to change tyre after 16000-20000km as per your use, if you do lots of burnouts and skids you can burn them under 10000km also,
You get best bike with your 200k inr it give projector headlamp led tail and side lights, alloy wheels, fully digital displays with hell lot of information and small capacity track bike you can leaning on corners on this bike,
Rc200 is recommended over 390 for city use as it doesn't heat as quickly as 390.
Hope you like this review.

Ktm rc 200 is not a bike for daily uses or for highway it is basically track focus bike. Poor brakes abs not even as option, heavily priced 200 cc bike, expensive service cost, expensive parts and has heating issues. But here is the thing you will feel happy about is the instrument cluster meter and orange alloy wheels.

Do not buy ktm rc 200

Ktm rc 200 is not a bike for daily uses or for highway it is basically track focus bike. Poor brakes abs not even as option, heavily priced 200 cc bike, expensive service cost, expensive parts and has heating issues. But here is the thing you will feel happy about is the instrument cluster meter and orange alloy wheels.

Ktm lovers!!

Its cost is high but it gives racing feeling because ktm is sports bike company. Its look is like a fantastic and attractive one before all bikes. Its service and maintenance is also done well. When we go to the ktm showroom, they give more preference for the customers and taking a good care on the customers.

Its a good feel to ride ktm. Its really cool with a sporty look. That sound made by rc 200 makes every ones eyes on to my bike. Its really a good one.Even my friends started calling me ktm instead of my name. Its a good experience too.I suggest to go with rc200 .And of-course if you are a rider go with higher capacity engine.

Thank you

Rc 200
Sarang
