1.Buying experience haven't completed yet booked and waiting for it, so literally neither long rides nor commute experience, other than few hours in test drive and friend's bike.

Having said that the bike won my mind and soul, still riding only few hours.

3.*one can clearly judge the bike's killer looks for its thriller performance as it matches with and will not be betrayed. It's kind of addicted the more you throttle the more you need to be.

4.Even in an average town in Tamilnadu, where i booked the bike has the sales and service network for such an amazing brand, considering it as an overseas. There were no much complaints either from my friend about the bike or the outlet in the town (he owns it for nearly 3 months).

5.Led (lamp & drls), tft display with but pairing, lever adjustment, more importantly the safety features slipper clutch and abs helps in a lot to tame this speedy and many more.

Unless you don't love the bike you will have so much cons writing in about the bike, but to be passive heat dissipation from the bike bit noticeable. Though not with the gears but in short commutes, it takes time to getting used to it.

Oh come on! you have the bike in a day or in the weekends for few hours so enjoy it, don't bother.

To put together, it is simply the best entry level naked race bike.

I think that i should buy this fabulous bike. In the end every thing is not perfect. If it has pros then the bike has some cons also. But it doesn't matter because no one offers this kind of great bike in that price. At the end the bike is superb.

The 390 duke has always been a real-life example of the ‘david and goliath’ story. That admittedly small-looking bike from ktm packs a far larger punch than its dimensions, or cubic capacity for that matter, suggest; on-road and on-track, it could put some bigger bikes to shame. In fact, it has even inspired fear in riders that were not primed for how manic it could get.

Touched 155 kmph thrice but was close to death .

Bought this bike last week after reviewing lots of bikes, like dominar 400, enfield bullet, mahindra mojo, ninja 300 and honda cbr 250. I wanted to buy a bike for daily commuting to office and after reading lots of good reviews and personally visiting the showroom and based upon my talks with the dealer sales guys i finally purchased this bike after waiting for 45 days.

Though, its just 3-4 days i have driven the bike, i can tell somethings from my first few experiences with the bike.

First experience: extremely jerky on lower gears but smoothens after 4000 rpm and higher gears (4 or above). Could not keep bike running smoothly for long runs, that's because of traffic and road conditions in mumbai. Bike also stalled suddenly 2-3 times on low speed, putting me at risk of getting hit from vehicles coming from behind. Also, embarrassing situation of struggling with brand new, stylish bike and putting effort to bring it on neutral again and start it after it stopped abruptly on the road in between the traffic. (I used the clutch more frequently on second day, and it didn't happen again) one caution, never try to give throttle hard at the start, you may get toppled off the bike, because it just flies with a great jerk and that's because of sheer power of this bike. I did one or 2 wheelies but with no intention of doing those as i just gave throttle a bit harder after green traffic light came on. I felt that the bike is a bit jerky and throttle sound is a bit too harsh at lower rpms. Lower rpms and bigger gears also runs the risk of your bike getting stalled suddenly in-between the road putting you at risk of accident, so you have to keep the clutch pressed to keep your bike from being jerky. Tft screen worked fine and bluetooth connectivity with my iphone worked well. But many times the tft display stopped showing the gear status on the screen and just went blank at top right corner where it displays gears status. This confuses the biker for whether he is on neutral or not when you have to stop bike in traffic or traffic signal. Even after adjusting gear lever, it doesn't show the gear. Only when you start sailing again, the gear status comes on screen automatically. Brakes are superb and a boosts the confidence that you can stop the bike when you want to. Abs works wonders. Drls turn lots of heads and people check your bike, which feels nice :). It's a tall bike now and if a 5 feet 6 inches is wearing a tight trouser or jeans, he will really struggle to get onto the bike and could just touch his toes on the ground if he successfully manages to sit on it.

Still can't say much about the bike given my short stride with the bike, but one thing for sure, this is not a bike for city rides and you will struggle keeping the bike smooth at low gears and it gets heated up very quickly and you can feel the real heat on your feet and legs.

Great bike for the power and speed enthusiasts but. Nothing against and in favor of the bike, but i didn't get a smooth ride i was expecting after spending 2.66 Lac :(

Duke 390, 2017 version is everything that a rider require. Newer duke 390 is mature version of the older raw performer. It delivers power with a quick throttle but still makes bike feel under control. It is a electronically equipped motorcycle. The tft-dashboard displays like temperature, fuel, current no. Of shift, abs mode, time, date etc everything at one place & the main screen is fully customisable too. Bluetooth connectivity enables a rider to change music along with notifying whosoever is calling on phone. Abs can be controlled by riding modes which duke is offering a rider. It's design is fantastically build and compliments the genre of bike it is. The bike is actually lighter than it looks. The handling of duke 390 is way much better than any other motorcycle coming under its genre and price. But still the motorcycle has few things which may some like or not. Company can upgrade it's tft's frimware by equipping it a built-in gps allowing a rider to know ways easily. A usb port should be there. As now the duke 390 doesn't delivers the same old power release, engine should be refined in order to generate more mileage. Duke 390 now comes with metzeler sportec m5 tyres which has also raised it's price and that too weren't necessary. It bit expensive for what ktm is offering. But duke 390 2017 will not definitely fail your expectations and still make you feel that adrenaline rush through your nerves at the moment you get on to it. Users better check out by themselves and i bet you'll fall in love the motorcycle.
