A bike for beginners wanting to explore beautiful India. Good mileage, good suspension. Awesome feeling when you rev it up. good for off road, great budget bike with all the premium specs, sturdy and reliable. Power shifter traction control abs and a cool display. Cons- A little bigger for guys 5 ft. 4 or less but can adjust once they ride it for a while. Can heat up sometimes in the traffic but who cares if you like touring. Pros: Great riding experience, very good balance, superb brakes, amazing handling on and off-road. I ride 80% in the city and 20 % off-road, performance ok on the highway too. Cons: Quality issues, screen has vapor inside after 6 months, changed in warranty. Oil pressure error code after 3 weeks in low rpm range, oil pressure sensor changed in warranty.

It's the best in class for the price and has a lot to offer which can be seen only on bikes with double the price tag Pros: Switchable and cornering ABS works spectacularly. Front travel suspension is smooth, acceleration is magnificent and the ride quality is excellent. This is however not a perfect bike and had quite a few drawbacks. Cons: Handle height is low, seat height is too high which makes off-roading difficult and commute uncomfortable. But handle raisers can make things easy. Low end torque is lagging and bike struggles in heavy traffic and off-road at lower rpm. Stiffer back suspension and small wind shield.

Starting with buying experience, Taking ownership of RC 390 Adventure was quite a hassle free job after completing the paperwork. The bike was delivered on 10th day. As soon as you sit on the bike you feel like God. The tall seat height is aggressive and sharp which contributes to it. Start is quite normal like other bikes, but initial acceleration in first or second gear come with some good vibration, which continues to make their way to your foot pegs and your handle bar. Vibration kept on coming even in 3rd and 4th gear if you are riding below 4000 rpm mark. As soon as you reach in 5th gear or 4000 rpm mark, bike gets super smooth and here comes the real adventure. Performance wise the bike performs excellent on the highway. Road presence of this bike is awesome. Service and maintenance of bike is only what is included in regular for the first service. They charge you max 2000 Rs. and after that I have no idea as I have not yet reached that stage. Pros are its looks, its high gear performance and riding comfort. Cons include high heat generation when riding in city traffic. It literally felt like you have put your leg in fire or something very hot. Also head light performance is not that great as expected from a adventure tourer. Seat height is 850 mm, it is very difficult to control for short riders. Overall if one is looking to let go the above mentioned cons this bike is really good, go for it and it wont make you regret.
