The 160 Duke is one of KTM’s upcoming motorcycles, which will replace the 125 Duke as the Austrian brand’s entry-level offering. As of now, the confirmed specifications of the bike are not available. It will mainly compete against Yamaha’s extremely popular MT-15.
The engine of the 160 Duke will certainly be a close-to-160cc unit, power and torque output of which will be higher than the 125 Duke. The latter produces 14.3bhp and 12Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The hardware should be similar to its 200cc sibling with 17-inch alloy wheels, WP suspension, and ByBre braking hardware. Whether it will get dual-channel ABS remains to be seen. KTM might opt for a single-channel unit to save production costs.
Before discontinuation, the KTM 125 Duke was pegged at Rs. 2.04 lakh. The 160 Duke should be priced the same to avoid cannibalisation of the portfolio, as anything higher will place it too close to the bigger 200 Duke.

The KTM Duke 160 is a bold new entry in the 160cc segment, blending aggressive styling with premium features and sporty performance. It’s a compelling choice for first-time buyers seeking excitement without breaking the bank. I am very excited with it...when I got for the first time I was awe struck for everything it had!!!

Fuel Gauge Metre error from the Manufacturer
10 weeks ago
Kushik Reang
I am very disappointed by the product i got from the company. Because in my brand new KTM duke 160 ,from the day 1 onwards, the fuel metre doesn't show me any readings of fuel consumption. I went to service centre, they said can be fixed but later on they said they will order new fuel pump for me. Its been 3 months, i had to ride my duke without knowing how much fuel is left. At one time, my whole fuel was finished and i was stuck at mid of road with no fuel station around.I didn't expected this kind of manufacturing defect product from the company.

KTM 160duke
Vijay
The KTM Duke 160 is a stylish and performance-oriented bike that perfectly balances power, design, and handling for city riders.Pros: Performance: The 160cc engine delivers quick acceleration and a sporty riding experience. Handling: Lightweight frame with great balance — cornering feels smooth and confident. Build Quality: Solid premium feel, just like other KTM models. Exhaust Note: Sporty and aggressive sound, gives a real street-bike vibe.Design: Sharp, aggressive styling — definitely an eye-catcher on the road.Cons:Mileage: Around 40–45 km/l — not the best for daily commuters who prioritize fuel efficiency.Seat Comfort: A bit firm for long rides.Maintenance Cost: Slightly higher than other 160cc segment bikes.Verdict:If you love sporty performance, premium design, and don’t mind slightly higher maintenance, the KTM Duke 160 is one of the best bikes in its class. Ideal for city rides and occasional weekend trips. Rating: 4.5/5
