KTM India has launched the 2022 version of 125 Duke along with a new paint theme. With this, the 2022 iteration of the Austrian brand’s entry-level model is now available in two paint options – Electronic Orange and the new Ceramic White. Both colour options feature a dual-tone finish.
In terms of styling, the Ceramic White option uses black paint for the tubular frame and white finish to the sub-frame along with orange finish to the alloy wheels. Further, the 125 Duke logo, too, is different in the Ceramic White paint option. In contrast, the Electronic Orange theme gets orange colour for the chassis and black paint for the sub-frame and alloy wheels.
The changes are limited to styling revisions in the form of the new paint theme. Thus, the 2022 KTM 125 Duke continues to pack a halogen headlight with LED DRLs, an LED taillight, LED turn indicators, and orange backlit LCD console.
The mechanical specifications, too, remain identical to the previous version and the 125 Duke retains the 124.7cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine produces 14.3bhp at 9,250rpm and 12Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. The hardware comprises upside-down telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, and single disc brakes on both wheels.
In India, the KTM 125 Duke rivals the likes of Yamaha MT-15 and Suzuki Gixxer 155 and is priced at Rs 1,78,041 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

This is my own experience of owning a KTM 125 DUKE for about 5 years and riding over 22K kms. I got this as my first bike and learned to ride in the same back in 2019-OCT. The bike is really good in terms of handling and ease of riding, performance wise it really makes a difference than the other 125 commuter segment bikes. The looks are nice too, and light weight adds to the easy maneuverability. The main disadvantages of this bike are that it is costlier, has high maintenance cost(same as the Duke 390cc) and the SEATS are HIGHLY UNCOMFORTABLE even for traveling a small distance of 100kms, for every 45 minutes or so you will get a pain in your lower back, especially in the tailbone section. Feels like sitting in a rock-hard surface. Apart from this, the suspension feels good when a pillion rider is seated cause that adds to the grip and weight which causes the bike to grip the road firmly. For single riders in uneven roads in cities, you can feel the smallest of the road patches. Hero X-Pulse is better in terms of suspension for city use with the same mileage figures better power and price. If you are looking for a 125cc bike, better go with Honda Activa or Suzuki Access 125 since, they are easy, convenient for day-to-day use, and less expensive. I recommend renting a bike for 2-5 days to understand how the riding feels on both city and highway before you make a purchase. It may cost you 3-5k but saves you from regretting in future buying a bike you are not happy with in the long run. Don't make the mistake that I did.

Worst bike ever

Worst bike ever in KTM, I suggest everyone not buy this, why, why thus a 125 cc bike for 2.2 lakh, you can get a powerful 200 cc bike at this price and you can buy Duke 200 if you add some money,Waste of money and the mileage is also shallow, like only 40 kmpl mileage for a 125 cc bike. You better buy Duke 200 at 2. 5 lakh. Or you can buy ns 200, or pulsar 220f in just 1.8 lakh, more affordable bikes, and you can buy R15 at the same price, more mileage, more powerful, good technology, or pulsar bikes are more affordable and easy to maintain.

1. It was the best buying experience ever had, it was like buying my dream bike, but talking about the price it was more than expected you can have many other bikes even scooters at 125 cc and much cheaper than this so from the price perspective it is expensive.2. It gives a good riding experience but sometimes the power feels underrated.3. Details and looks of this bike are just amazing, and everyone knows it.4. I have never faced any problems in the servicing and maintenance of this bike.5. So the pros are it is good lookingIt looks professional And the pros are it is a bit expensive. The engine feels underrated.

Used for daily up and down from my office. Looks awesome, an eye-turner. I have always used honda bikes so mileage is the main concern I bought this bike it gives me approx 40km/l which is good enough for daily rides. If you can compromise with the mileage. Go for 250cc. The service cost is almost double that of a normal bike. Service cost is too high free service means nothing..Nothing is free you have to pay for each and every work.

Tips for other riders
If you give it some thought, purchasing a KTM 125 Duke will be an extremely poor choice. Before purchasing a bike, there are numerous considerations to make. The bike is incredibly pricey and only has a 125 cc engine, which is not a wise choice. You could get a bike with a 200 cc engine if you just saved more money and waited a bit longer.

It looks like a much smart and has a pretty face. This bike is a dream for me and many young stars and it has a comfortable price for a good bike. This has the latest update of all bikes and it's an emotion of many bikers. Its color is superb and the main thing is that mileage is super for this price.
