The 2026 KLX230R S features nearly 95 per cent localisation and only a few components are imported. Unlike the CKD variant, which uses aluminium in its construction, the India-made Kawasaki KLX230R S uses high-tensile steel for the frame and swingarm. The locally-produced model is 14kg heavier than the CKD version, and weighs 129kg kerb.
For 2026, Kawasaki has revised the styling of the KLX230R S. All the body panels and graphics are redesigned to offer a distinctive visual appeal. However, the paint options remain unchanged.
Powering the Kawasaki KLX230R S is a 233cc, air-cooled engine that produces 19.57bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 20.6Nm at 6,000rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The suspension setup includes 37mm telescopic forks up front and a link-type rear monoshock. The suspension travel stands at 220mm at the front and 223mm at the back. Meanwhile, it has a ground clearance of 270mm and a seat height of 900mm. The KLX230R S rides on a 21/18-inch spoke wheel, wrapped in knobby tyres.

This bike is best for off-road and offers good value for money. Come to explore this world, guys. I love my bike. This bike will give almost 40 kmpl, also good braking, and the best is off-road riding also very good service. The braking system of this bike is top notch, and this is better than some other bikes like the X Pulse.
