Kawasaki KLX 230 S

Kawasaki KLX 230 S is expected to launch in India in October 2024 in the expected price range of ₹ 2,00,000 to ₹ 2,10,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to KLX 230 S are KTM 200 Duke, Suzuki Gixxer 250 & OLA Roadster Pro. Another bike similar to KLX 230 S is Yezdi Roadking which is launching in December 2024 in India.

The Kawasaki KLX 230 S is a dual sport motorcycle, which is available in many international markets and is expected to be launched soon in India. The 2024 model was launched globally in early 2024 and has received quite a few updates over its older model.

The new Kawasaki KLX 230 S gets a new sub-frame that offers more suspension travel and a new seat. The motorcycle has a seat height of 830mm, which is slightly on the taller side for an average Indian. Meanwhile, its ground clearance stands at 210mm. The styling is quintessentially dual-sport with a bikini fairing, tall peak mudguard, long flat seat, and a minimalist tail section.

The KLX 230 S is powered by a 233cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 19.73bhp at 8,000rpm and 20.3Nm at 6,000rpm. It will be paired with a six-speed gearbox. The Kawasaki KLX 230 S rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, wrapped in dual-purpose knobby tyres. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends.

Kawasaki will launch the KLX 230 S in India in October 2024 and it is expected to be offered in two colours - Kawasaki Green and grey. The bike will rival the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and is expected to be priced around the Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
