The legend is back with bang...I am telling you guys it's makkhan.. Great riding experience. Latest technologies implemented. I have taken the test ride of jawa 42 and thunderbird on same day.. my observation -Sitting position is good in both bike. Jawa 42 is like sports comfort and 350x more towards cruise comfort.There is so much vibration in 350x.. In the speed of 50 to 60 km But no vibration at all upto 100km in jawa. Riding control is altimate in jawa compared to 350x. So if i would choose between jawa and 350x i will definitely go for jawa as its is more value for money in the same segment. Its my hard earned money so i will invest in some more value for money product. I am not royal enfield hater. Its a indian brand and i am proud of it but as i am comparing two bike i have to choose best one. So finally i booked java over royal enfield.

Guys please don't go with jawa.I have it's latest version 42 2.1 matte black purchased on march 2021 but I never thought it would be a disaster for me The biggest issue with jawa is it's ground clearance. You will loose confidence. 2 is the paint related issues. Guys it start rusting after 15 days.
3rd is it's after sales service related. They are just selling there products anyhow no service.
4 this is my personal experience with jawa that i want to share with you is rc related.. It's almost 4 month passed and i have not received my registration certificate of my bike. Trust me guys i am going to selling my bike.

I'm writing this review after a month of riding my new Jawa, I have completed 1000km in first 3 week's, my overall experience was good, I travelled around 300km long trip which covers highway & normal roads, the journey was smooth, and I'm so happy with the engine side, I touched to 100kmph and 90kmph maximum time and there was no change in engine sound or I didn't noticed any vibrations from engine, for which I felt happy. Because previously I used royal Enfield classic 350 and I got irritated with the engine vibrations especially when it crosses 70kmph to 80kmph. Coming to appearance it looks great with powerful 300cc engine and especially that coolant attached to engine gives more powerful look. Coming to handling, I'm feeling more comfortable to handle my Jawa as it was less in weight. One more advantage is the bike's suspension, in what ever speed you ride and if we have to move it through potholes, we won't feel any inconvenience or back pain due to great suspension. And coming to seating, the seat may be little hard to sit ,but it was comfortable to ride without any issues, as it fits our exact seating position, matching the fuel tank. Till now I didn't took my bike for servicing, so I'm unable to write my experience about servicing. But coming to maintenance, the main disadvantage is, it was taking more fuel, and to be frank I'm not getting at least 30km per liter, I think this was mainly due to using my Bike for daily commute, where I'll hardly ride 40km per day for office purpose and always used to change the gears frequently in this traffic and road also very bad. And one more disadvantage is less ground clearance, I'm very much disappointed with this, before purchasing this bike .I went through hundreds of reviews on different sites and no one mentioned about less ground clearance(may be they never experienced it, or using their vehicle on highway I think !), it's so sad, when ever if we cross any speed breaker or if we travel on village roads with potholes, mainly both silencers and bottom of the engine will touch the ground if we ride the bike with minimum speed, and I've experienced it many times and I've slowing down the bike where ever I'm facing potholes or speed breakers to save it from touching the ground and protecting it. And finally in my opinion one can opt for Jawa 42,if they don't have problem with "less mileage" and "less ground clearance" the bike was overall good, and gives nice riding experience, but it looks small in size when compared to other variants in the same price, but easy to handle. It's up to you to decide!

I am owning jawa for past 1 month. Bike is good looking and best performance. Everything looked good for past one month. But now it started several problems. The bike stops suddenly while riding that too at 3 or 4 gear. I tried to start, but it stopped again and again. I had to push for more than 5 km. There's no customer service, service center or road side assistance available after 6pm. Only option you are left with is to push the vehicle. I sent a email and got after a day. They committed to send people to check. But no body turned. I had to keep calling them multiple times. They say due to high number of complaints they cannot send people for next 3 days. The service center people are demanding money first for even coming to check. Next is rusting problem. They said they will replace it too. Next is discomfort during riding. Seat is so stiff. Your backbone will be on risk if you drive for longer distance.I have never seen such a worst vehicle. Soon jawa will have to shutdown. I am neither a great fan of re who is simply blaming jawa. I think people are buying just because of good look and the legendary name. Please avoid this vehicle. I am not the only customer who's facing the problem. You should go to service center before showroom. You will see so many vehicles there due to customer complaint.

Riders who want classic look while are not a fan of chrome will be interested in this urban commuter kinda bike with a little modern touch .It gets a flatter set of handlebars for a sportier riding stance. It gets an offset instrument console and a round halogen headlamp. I think this bike will emerge as a new package for cruiser bike lovers in India.

1 - i can say, its ok with buying experience 2 - riding wise its very good, only reason i give rating for it 3 - its not worth of cost, material used in it is not good. Its getting rust where as i used a bike for 17 years no which i dint seen such rust issues. When we are paying such huge amount why manufacture is getting compromise on there metal they using.4 - its ok 5 - i don't suggest others to buy it, as we are paying huge amount and jawa manufacturer is not giving good material.

Over all i can say its just another piece of royal enfield. But compared to royal enfield it has no vibration and have good top speed. But coming to its over-all quality and service and customer support its merely another royal enfield. 1. Not worth the price they quote, it should be priced around 1.5-16 lac. And they took very long to deliver that too a low grade one.2. Coming to riding experience, bad seating design so u'll feel discomfort in your legs and butts. And in handling its good. Mud guard design is very worst. Very own bikes dirt will spill on u.3. Look wise at initial opinion its looks pretty good but the seats are very short 2 people can't sit comfortably.4. Servicing costs are high and mileage am getting around 33. 5. Pros : less vibration, good top speed comparatively, good stability and handling, dual silencer will give good look.Cons: worst support, worst mid guard design, worst ergonomics as seat are not comfortable. Costly spares and accessories. Fuel gauge is of faulty kind in all the bikes till now. Braking issues are there. over all lot more to improve.

Actually bike is good but the build quality could have been better , within 4 month bike has started given a different sound plus if your budget is high then please opt for different bike or else you will realize later actually I’m saying with my own experience and please focus in color quality I’m really disappointed.

Bought Jawa 42 three months ago. Very good engine. Best bike for long rides and city commute. Ground clearance is an issue when pillion is there. Mileage is between 25-30 kmpl. Only once I got 37kmpl when I did a solo long ride. Seat is very hard, fuel meter doesn't work properly, rusting is there. The paint on the body parts is chipping off.
