After being dormant in the Indian market for over a year, Hyosung is planning to completely overhaul its Indian line-up with new and cosmetically updated models. The first among these to be launched here are the GT650R and the GT650N.
Hyosung is clear that it wants to make a big dent in the premium motorcycle space in India. And keeping this in mind, the company plans to go aggressive with its Indian partner, DSK Motowheels in the next financial year.
Hyosung has showcased its range of entry-level quarter-litre motorcycles at the 2015 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. Called GD250R and GD250N, these motorcycles are going to be launched in India in the next year.

Korean motorcycle firm Hyosung has unveiled a new cruiser motorcycle at the ongoing EICMA 2015 in Milan. Called the GV300, this new model features a low-slung cruiser appearance and is powered by a 275cc V-twin engine.
It has been a while since Hyosung officially confirmed its plans of launching the GD250R and GD250N in India. Now though, a test mule of the GD250R has been photographed sporting a ‘TC’ number plate in Pune, hinting that the fully-faired quarter-litre bike’s launch might be just around the corner.
While rumours of Hyosung launching GD250R and GD250N in India have been going around for a while, Mr Shivapada Ray, COO of DSK Motowheels, has officially confirmed that the two quarter-litre models will be introduced here, this year.
Hyosung has strengthened its network in India by opening a new showroom in Delhi. Called Urban Bykes, the new showroom is located at Main Rama Road, opposite Kirti Nagar Metro Station of the capital city, and was inaugurated by Mr Shivapada Ray, the COO of DSK Motowheels.
