Overall this bike has a good road presence, also a neck turner. Power is overwhelming for a 250cc engine. The brakes are good and do a pretty good job in emergency situations, try supermoto mode on off-roads. I bet taking this bike on hilly roads would put a smile on your face. Cons: very ltd modification available.

Pocket-rocket clocks upto 164kmhr on gps. But got a slower low end torque.
Prithish Kr Singh
The plot in short:- the bike is nimble and easy to ride, the front suspension is on the stiffer side since it improves cornering, the rear suspension got 6 steps damping settings, the low-end torque is insanely fun and the top end hovers around 162-164 km/hr max on gps ...Which in my opinion is an overkill since it reduces bike's efficiency and longevity, ground clearance is a headache for Indian roads since the illegal speed breakers collide with the beneath surface where the heat pipes reside, a certain type of issue increases the exposure towards dents and cracks on the pipeline. And the seat height is too much for the average Indian buyer with a shorter height, which in my case is negligible. The slipper clutch is soft and easy to use, and the resistance against the grip done by the clutch lever is almost null by the clutch leaver while pulling it for gear shiftings. Packed with a complete led setup for every unit(signal lights, drls, headlamps, rear stop light) on the bike. The fuel tank doesn't have enough volume which is a con in my opinion and is not suitable for long rides, while the posture doesn't allow you to do so at the same time, so never mind. Abs and breaking are top-tier, but the brake pads tend to heat up quickly, so it's better to add ceramic brake pads and replace the stock ones for better braking bite power and stability, during high speeds the stability lacks a little bit unlike other bikes within the same range, and you might need an anti-tank slapper to prevent high-speed crashes. But still, a skilled rider could go away with it...Pros:-design, performance, stability, maneuverability, braking, completely led setup, dual channel byebre abs, wp apex suspension(which is better than the vanilla wp suspension), slipper clutch, smooth transmission.Cons:-seat height, ground clearance, shifting rod jamming, lack of ceramic brake pads small fuel tank, weird-looking mirrors and grab rail.

One of the good-looking and high-performance bikes under 2.5lakhs. It is suitable for college students and bachelors, I achieved a top speed of 158 on this bike, and my bike mileage was 30 in the city and highway 33 I think so, it has the same engine as ktm duke 250 but it gives better performance then ktm duke 250 because Vitpilen 250 is lighter then duke 250.

Ground clearance will be a problem sometimes with pillion. Good performance - i clocked 160 km/h.Maintainance same as duke 250.Mileage will improve after 2 services. In city 27 to 30 and on highways 30 to 35In my opinion its a great choice when compared to duke 250 - has good performance, looks, but will not get very comfort as of duke. Best bike in quarter litre category under 3 lakhs

I got my hands on vitpilen after the lockdown before this I was planning to buy duke 250 but it was delayed so I went for vitpilen and believe me i'm glad that I went for Vitpilen, it looks amazing and it has proper cafe racer looks and it is lighter than duke 250 with the kerb weight of 151 kg making it more powerful due to better power to the weight ratio. The clip on handle bars gives you the feel of a proper cafe racer and makes the rider more engaged to the bike giving you more control over bike and better stability at higher speeds and best of all awesome cornering capabilities. You get all the features that a duke 250 gets and it has best looking led indicator which is so bright its clearly visible even on brightest sunlight. Vitpilen 250 produces 31bhp of power as compared to duke 250 which is 30 bhp although both bikes share the same engine. If you're planning to buy a 250cc bike which is value for money just go for it. In short terms this is ktm rc 250 with no fairings. Pros:Powerful 250 cc single cylinder dohc engine with liquid cooling. All led lights setup.Gets slipper clutch.Switchable abs(super moto mode)Clip on handle bars gives you more control.Inverted telescopic front forks and rear monoshock suspension by wp gives best in class stability.Lots of power surge after 7000 rpm even at higher speeds.Bybre disc brakes with dual channel abs gives good byte and braking is really good.Very nice feedback from engine braking( I rarely use brakes engine braking is enough to slow down the bike).Liquid cooling is great it never lets engine get too hot.Tyres are good provides good grip in wet and dry conditions.Fuel tank is 9.5 litres same as ktm rc.Cons:Ground clearance is very low.Seat height is 842 mm which is same as ktm adventure series.(it's not suitable for short riders). Some wires are visible, could have been better if it's managed well.Panel gaps are inappropriate.

Best among cafe racer bikes in India
Daniel Bonaventure Raj A
I was very eager to get the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 (well waited for the test ride which took a long time due to covid @ Ktm showroom adyar), it was having a unique presence and was simple yet dynamic with the given features. When I took my husky for a test ride I felt pure power and performance on the roads and it was very easy to take sharp turns and cuts in the traffic, the riding experience was very exciting and it made me feel good. This bike is very underestimated by many people who see this bike as a compact or small bike, but the reality is it has been good according to me. Shorter than 6ft riders can also be able to ride this bike without any issues. Well i got my Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 this month and yeah i am waiting to get my service and would be sharing it here later(asap).I feel this bike is easy to clean and maintain than getting any enfield or Jawa type of bikes... So this cafe racer is one of the best in India till now because of its fuel efficiency than other cafe racers. My bike is currently giving a mileage around 32-33km/litre.Pros1)this bike is value for money... According to power and performance.2)Super Moto mode helps to rev more higher and it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable while riding at high-speed.3)gear shifting and engine is really smooth with the min vibration of riding on high rpm makes you feel like you are in cloud nine.4)having a decent cluster set and premium badging on the vehicleCons1)i feel that this bike should have more accessories and rider equipment's like Yamaha and re.2)could have given different colour options.3)try to increase new features like navigation and charging usb ports and mobile connectivity.4)should try to improvise the play store app of Husqvarna better like the ktm application which shows the performance and distance of the vehicle and having the documents attached together about the next services and trips taken.

Just a quick review about the grey arrow.
Aaryan Arun
I loved this bike the first time I saw it and to my luck I was looking to purchase a new motorcycle and I knew it had to be this or a duke 390. Well I laid off the duke 390 first of all because for a college student it was unnecessary consumption of fuel and waste of money so I went over to the Huskys. I test rode both ,the Svartpilen and the Vitpilen, although I agree the svartpilen is more practical, the Vitpilen just stole my heart ,the way the bike leans the way it handles the power even though its just a 250cc, it just took me along and from my day of purchase till now never has she made me regret my decision of picking the Vitpilen . My only issue with the bike until now has been the tyres. Now this is just my personal opinion but I feel the stock tyres don't do justice to the performance and handling. About looks I need not say anything. This motorcycle looks a class apart from any 250cc motorcycle and man she is a head turner for sure I literally just need to get into traffic and people go like crazy. Now talking about maintenance its cheap according to me its just like maintaining any other 250/400cc bike . Pros of the bike are :1. Bike stands out,2. Plenty of power so you don't get bored. 3. Handles like a dream. Cons of the bike are : 1. Not comfortable so do not go for this if you plan on touring or travelling if you are a enthusiastic biker like me it wouldn't be a issue but otherwise do not go for it if you want comfort, 2. Fuel tank capacity is low. 3. Tyres could have been better stock tyres don't justify the bike.

Vitpilen 250 long time user review

Mohamed Irshath

Husky is more like a raw bike.

Ground clearance is a problem 6. Cornering stability is super7. Very smooth in the low rpms but has vibes in the higher revs. 8. Totally I am very satisfied with this bike. 9. Best among cafe racer bikes in India
2 years ago
