Hard gear shifting lack of smoothness poor pe

Lack of smoothness. Rpm goes to 3000 at every start, its remain continues for 10-15 mins in the morning, its causes fuel efficiency. Hard gear shifting. Poor performance as compared to other competitive vehicles. Bs4 variant was a much better and heavy vehicle with excellent road grip. According to the heavy price hikes, there are no special changes.

Mileage also gives less than you are expecting. Or what they have mentioned in advertising. In the service center, if you ask any questions, they will say the default answer. It's product behavior.

I have completed almost 15000kms in my unicorn bs6 160 2021 model after 2nd service my bike started to give problems
1. While starting the engine it will take 1 minute to heat up, this happens every time and especially in winter, it will take more than 2 minutes.
2. For every 2500 kms it gives a problem in brake shoe.
3. There is a gear shifting problem after 3rd service
4. There is a bike wobbles problem after shifting 2nd gear for more than 10 seconds.
5. Issue with a kicker (the daily morning I use kicker) which feels uncomfortable, not starting in a first kick.
6. Very poor headlight illumination after finishing free service we need to change to led for better illumination.
The only best part is engine smoothness, no noise even after 14000 kms.

The main thing is the service part is very worst they don't have sense. Even though I was raised compliant with honda company itself but they were not responded properly.

High cost as compared to features. Riding on the smooth road is good.. Major problem is the rear shock absorber of unicorn 160 bs6 is faulty and useless almost all these models of unicorn have the same issue. The look is excellent. Milenge ranging from 40-45 kmpl. Servicing and maintenance costs are average. The rear suspension is major issue and impacting on comfort. Old unicorn is good as compared to a new one.. So waste of too much money.

My dad bought this bike after selling 13 yrs old unicorn, so the bike was pretty fine from May 2019 to May 2020 but after a 1-year bike gave us lots of problems we couldn't even get it fixed right. Our previous unicorn was pretty fine if you wish to compare it. Dad invested more than he should just to repair it.
Pros:- there aren't any
Cons:- you may find many but wait till 1st service we get mileage of 45 in the city and 47 on the highway after 1st service and after 1-year bike just showed us his true colors read this.....
1. When you switch the gear you'll hear sound and the sound may come from any gear unexpectedly.
2. You shouldn't race with an older unicorn you'll lose miserably. The pickup isn't exciting.
3. Higher vibration and loud/harsh noise after 4.5k rpm.
4. We get mileage around 35km/l that's why we bought 150cc commuter bike just to get 35km/l. We didn't have any bike which was willing to give us 35. Every bike we test ride gave only 20.
5. My age is 20 now & I've riding unicorn since 2014. The older unicorn was far more reliable than this new version. At least the older one gave us 50km/l & 55+ on the highway.
6. Suspension is like you'll feel every bump every speed breaker every mm of the road. The bike is jumpy on any bridge you wished to go around 40km/h.
7. Performance ? is there any. You can cruise at 60-80km/h. Also, you'll feel that you don't have control over your own bike, my dad and I had a discussion over this so you can take it as a valid point.
8. Bike feels pain when you have a pillion behind. It just refused to pick up the speed, also the number of potholes you'll feel just made you jump out of the bike.
Also, we tried many times to repair the bike
The mileage we get remained the same around 30 to 35km/l even after several changes.
You shouldn't buy this bike instead buy another brand. Just don't buy honda.
