An awesome bike
Sanket Deshpande
I am currently using this bike for my daily commute and i must say that it is really a charm. The engine on this guy is really smooth and you will hardly notice any loud noise from it. Also the seating arrangement for both the main rider and pillion is really comfortable. One can ride this easily especially in city areas in a lot of traffic with ease. That being said you can easily make your way in heavy traffic easily with this one. This bike can also be easily controlled while driving even if you are in a high speed. The brakes are a combination of disc and drum and they work perfectly fine. Even when in high speed if you apply the breaks suddenly, this bike won't lose balance and skid and you will be able to significantly reduce the speed. I myself had to apply sudden brakes when i was in high speed due to some obstructions on road and i must say that this guy handled it like a charm and i did not skid or loose balance even once on this bike. Overall a very good bike for your daily city commute and also if you want to catch a long ride once in a week.

Honda unicorn 160 CBS is not a complete bike in this price range. It gives me only less than 40 kmpl mileage even after riding in 40-50km/hr in good road. I used it for 15 months. Gear shifting issue is also a big problem. After achieving the speed greater than 90 km/hr, byke started to vibrated and the engine sounds very badly. Over all, I am not recommending this bike to a new buyer.

Front tyre & rear braking system are worst
4 years ago
Manu
I am using unicorn 160 since 2015, driving is very smooth. But mileage is low in without traffic area, giving 45 only. Rear braking system is very bad, not controlling the speed even 40 km. Front tyre grip also not good, when we are travelling on rural roads. Please resolve the problems when designing the new bike.

Unicorn 160 bs3 is worst bike

Buying experience : the dealers will be dying to sell the bike, i fell for that
Riding experience : riding this bike is one of the worst experience i ever had . This bike has serious problem with the gear shift. The up shift is fine but stuck during down shift. This problem will have you, during rides and traffic .
Detail looks and performance : looks are ok not so great, performance is not good though the manufacturer claim the mileage to be 62km but it only gives 40km.
Servicing and maintenance: not up to the mark .
Pro and cons : no pros only cons .
The basic gear shifting does not work properly
I regret buying this bike

Cb unicorn 160 cbs king of city pawn on the highway
6 years ago
Aamod Joshi
I wanted to buy my first bike. I was a 125 cc scooter user, so wanted a better cc bike. I had options of gixxer, apache, hornet and unicorn 160. I took a test drive of all the three, and finalized unicorn 160 cbs.
The performance
The performance from engine is good. Throttle response is good, and you wont find it dull, even riding on open city roads. Even in stop and go traffic, the bike feels nice and quick to move. It quickly reaches to 70s and being a cbs version, braking is absolute perfect. While riding in city, you never feel the bike is out of control.
But, when it comes to highways rides, the story is not that sweet. Though the speed reaches triple digits and stays for long time, you tend to get lot of turbulence. The handle bar get vibrations. Wind turbulence is massive. Leads to lose the confidence over the bike. A light-weight is a disadvantage here. Tyres are thinner to give required stability to bike for triple digit ride. In the end, you are forced to reduce it to 90s. Its not a fault of engine. Engine is capable, but other components don't co-operate.
Comfort
The best part is mono-suspension. It literally absorb the bumps and wont let you feel them. It keeps the ride handling extremely comfortable.
When it comes to sitting, i would be unsatisfied about it. I feel the cushion could be more comfortable. A little lengthy ride will give your bum good amount of soar. Though i am a healthy person having triple digit weigh, i found other bike seats more comfortable than this one.
Else, ride position is good. Thought it looks bit aggressive, its totally comfortable, and you never feel the weight is on your shoulder.
Economy
Honda claims it to be 62 kmpl economy for this. But, i experienced between 45-49. And i am happy about it. On highways, it gives around 52-55. But, again, it all depends upon your driving style.
Overall:
Perfect city bike. Cbs and mono suspension are best features offered by bike. Its a bit costly for what it offers.
If you are strictly city commuter, then go for this one. But if you enjoy some highway rides too, then consider its sibling, cb hornet.

No vibration up to 107km/hr(that was my top speed). Also the maintenance is very much economy as compared to other bikes in same configurations. My review is after riding 14000km. Its given me a classic sporty looks, also a good mileage as compared to other 160/150 cc bikes. I am very much comfortable while riding (my riding range 55 - 82km/hr). Its sleek design gives a healthy looks and perfection. Always gives perfect ground clearance. No vibration up to 107km/hr(that was my top speed). Also the maintenance is very much economy as compared to other bikes in same configurations. My review is after riding 14000km. So i am strongly recommending this bike. I am giving full mark

Overall performance of bike is very amazing but due to bad service given by authorized service centers bike is notoriedad. They do not have professional mechanic at workshop even they cant identify the actual problem and proper solution that's why customer have waste their money at wrong solution and all blames go toward bike.

An awesome bike

Not bad but not good also

Murali Mohan
I have bought this bike in the mid 2015 and it will definitely satisfy you the pickup is great on this and coming to mileage in a city with moderate traffic it should give you around 45-50 kmph. And also it will satisfy you in all purposes be it a long trip or a ride to your office it's great!!
Pros-
1) you will be amazed with the pickup on this bike it can go from 0-50 in 8-10 seconds
2) mileage is really great on this bike which is the thing that anyone would consider
Cons-
1) service is really poor near faced a lot of problem during my 1st and 2nd service.
