    little bit costly in 125 segment but if you look at this bike features then price is ok.
    from front side its look like a 150cc bike but back side its look like 100 cc bike. performance is really good of this bike. we know that honda engine is very much refined. maintenance of this bike is very low. ride on eco mode then you get better mileage.

  • Price is too high

    I just took a test drive it's feels good than the old sp 125 and smooth starting it's pick is super it look like mini hornet, it's look is aggressive but the price is too much than the other 125cc segment bikes. It's meter console is fully digital and gives more information i am happy that in comes with engine kill switch.

  • Don't buy sp 125 before reading this review. This review can change your decision.

    3 years ago

    Nishchal Sharma

    I bought this bike on 18 aug and on the very first day i faced the problem of gear shifting. When i investigated i found that about 95 percent sp 125 have this issue and this is the major point one should consider before talking this bike. Some other issue are also there like the headlight looks good but is just for show and doesn't perform well in night. Some problem were created by dealer. They said they would give bike in 93k but gave in 93600 and they did not adjust the clutch so the clutch was hard and the eco light did not work on my bike. The placement of the gear is the worst one can imagine, the front part is in the plane of foot rest and the rear part is above the plane of footrest so it becomes boon to use gear in traffic, it is like you cannot shift like heel and toe shifter because the rear part is in air and also not like only toe shifter way cause the front part is not accessible. Instantaneous mileage show is wrong it shows 99.9 kmpl. Slim tera tyre offers good grip on dry tarmac but on wet surfaces you have to be watchful. The break on my bike is disk and breaking is decent, the initial bite is lacking. Rear break is hard and not work nicely. Parts are expensive considering it is 125cc bike and the fibers used on bike is also very cheap. The fit and finish is very poor, the panels are not fitted properly. The rough edges are evident and annoying. Talking of drive quality, the bike is smooth and refine. The best eco speed is 45 which i think is less according to 125cc. It is like adding 5th gear in 100cc, i am not talking of power but the sweet spot of the engine. Suspension are good when riding double and is bouncy in single. While stop and go traffic your hand hits the handle bar and that creates pain not because of posture but because of handle bar design. This is expensive bike and if you don't mind vibrations then i would suggest go towards hero glamour. Atleast the ergonomics of that bike is better. Silent starter is good for sneaking away from home without knowing.

  • My review about SP 125

    N Madhusudhan

    Good bike for daily purpose as it is a 5 speed gear box. Pretty well priced and very good mileage. Better to change tyres after buying because stock tyres does not offer good grip.
    Whereas new tyres offer better grip I recommend Michelin tyres for good grip. Over all experience is good. Service experience is also very good.

  • A classy bike ! loved it

    Anurag

    Yes this bike is very stylish, and very promising with there mileage and many other features.
    Every coin has two faces
    So, firstly see the positive side of this bike, as I experienced with this bike i.E. , it's comfortable there is no vibration at high speed till 90 i experience, smooth gear shifting; and kick and switch both start is there in this bike; brakes works fabulously in my variant front have disk brakes and back have drum brakes and it responds immediately which is very great; and suspensions, braking and clutch are very smooth ; and likewise superb ;
    And I got average mileage in the city of about 68kmpl which is very good.. I have the black and red color of this bike...
    *now* let's see few cons
    The rear tyre is very narrow and may get slipped at corners or at the time of turning(if you slowed down and are careful then it doesn't feel as I experienced) ; the graphics or you can say stickers got dull over the time and did not look as good as it was in new; seat is not too soft its harder so longer (3-4hrs max u can drive) journey's are painful (u need to take brakes after that)
    ***it has somewhat boring instrument clusters but it did the work that you need you can the necessary information from there so I don't want to say that's it a con. Because some can feel some don't.
    Overall mileage(*it may possible my mileage is may differ from your mileage because of body weight or many other factors and my body weight is 68kg*) and in the first look and it driving experience is very very good.. And I didn't find out any kind of cons rather than what i mentioned here before,
    If this is your first bike just go for it don't overthink it will definitely do your work smoothly. I mentioned here the cons of knowledge not to discourage anyone
    That's all I can tell you from my experience give a thumbs up if you find it reasonable.

  • Best bike in commuter segment.

    21 weeks ago

    Pranav Kumar

    The Honda SP 125 is a great choice for a city bike. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it perfect for navigating through traffic.
    Here are some of the pros and cons of the Honda SP 125:
    Pros:
    * Lightweight and easy to maneuver
    * Powerful engine
    * Comfortable suspension
    * Great mileage
    Cons:
    * Not as powerful as some other 125cc bikes
    * Suspension can be a bit stiff on rough roads
    One thing that I would like to change in this bike is its sleek rear tire. Although I know that it has been used in this bike for a greater mileage performance, a wider tire would have given more confidence to the driver.
    Overall, I would like to say that the Honda SP 125 is a great choice for a city bike. It's stylish, reliable, and affordable. If you're looking for a great way to get around town, the SP 125 is worth considering.

  • Worst service support by honda 2w

    1 year ago

    Ram

    Worst service experience. In case of any default in spare parts, you have to be ready to wait for a couple of months. There is no proper response from the service center and the quality of service is poor.
    There is a huge demand for spare parts.
    To summarize, the regular performance of the sp125 is good. But the worst service by honda 2w.

    Excellent performance and mileage. Looks like 150 cc bike. You can drag it as well upto 100. I am getting a mileage of about 60+ in daily commute, more on highways. Seats are comfortable in long rides too.Instrument cluster is fabulous.Suspension is on softer side and bike is very lightweight and so you have to control hard on high speeds.Handling is excellent. Downside-it demands gear shift from 2 to 3 very soon when you take it on road.Tyre width is thinner but gives you more mileage.Overall best 125 cc bike for daily commute.

    Yes this bike is very stylish, and very promising with there mileage and many other features.
    Every coin has two faces
    So, firstly see the positive side of this bike, as I experienced with this bike i.E. , it's comfortable there is no vibration at high speed till 90 i experience, smooth gear shifting; and kick and switch both start is there in this bike; brakes works fabulously in my variant front have disk brakes and back have drum brakes and it responds immediately which is very great; and suspensions, braking and clutch are very smooth ; and likewise superb ;

    The Honda SP 125 is a great choice for a city bike. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it perfect for navigating through traffic.
    Here are some of the pros and cons of the Honda SP 125:
    Pros:
    * Lightweight and easy to maneuver
    * Powerful engine
    * Comfortable suspension
    * Great mileage
