Weighing only 113kg, the Shine is incredibly nimble in traffic. The upright seating posture and long, cushioned seat make it one of the most comfortable bikes for both rider and pillion on daily commutes.
Looks: Mature & Premium
The design is sophisticated rather than sporty. It features premium chrome garnishes, a 3D Honda wing emblem, and new-age touches like an LED headlamp and a USB charging port (on higher trims) that keep it looking modern for 2026.

I own a Honda CB Shine 125 (2018 model), which has completed approximately 75,000 km. After reaching this mileage, the bike started developing engine-related issues every 800–1000 km, even though the engine oil was replaced regularly and on time.
Based on my personal experience, I am not satisfied with the performance and reliability of the CB Shine and would not recommend this bike.

It is a 125 cc VFM motorcycle. If you travel in fifth gear at a low speed, the mileage is approximately 60 to 62. My experience at the service centre is mediocre. The large seat and suspension settings for urban riding make it more comfortable than the splendor. digital meter accurately shows mileage and gear position. Seat comfort is better than SP 125.

I’ve been riding my Honda Shine for about a year now for my daily commute, and it has genuinely been a "fill it, shut it, forget it" kind of experience. The buying process at the local dealership was very smooth and professional, with all the paperwork completed much faster than I expected. The standout feature for me is definitely the refined 125cc engine; it is incredibly silent and remains almost vibration-free even when I push it a bit, which makes navigating heavy city traffic much less stressful. The upright seating posture is a lifesaver for long rides, and the suspension handles typical road bumps and potholes quite well without feeling too stiff. On the plus side, the engine refinement is easily the best in this segment, and I consistently get around 58-60 kmpl, which is great for the pocket, plus the build quality feels solid with no rattling sounds after a year of use. On the downside, the features are very basic, and I really wish it had a digital console or at least a clock since the current analogue setup feels a bit dated, and the stock rear tyre feels slightly narrow on wet roads during the monsoon. For other owners, I highly recommend getting the engine oil changed every 2,500 km and keeping the chain lubricated to keep the gear shifts buttery smooth. Overall, if you want a bike that just works without any drama, the Shine is a solid 4/5 choice.

Sabse pehli cheez jo mujhe pasand aayi, woh iska engine refinement hai. Honda Shine ka 124cc engine bahut smooth hai aur vibrations almost feel nahi hoti, chahe city traffic ho ya thoda open road. Traffic me chalate waqt clutch kaafi light lagta hai, jiski wajah se long traffic jams me bhi riding tiring nahi hoti. Gear shifting bhi smooth hai, jo daily use ke liye perfect hai.
Mileage ke maamle me Honda Shine ne mujhe kabhi disappoint nahi kiya. City me normal riding ke saath mujhe lagbhag 55–60 kmpl ka mileage mil jata hai. Highway par agar smooth riding rakho to mileage aur bhi better mil sakta hai. Aaj ke petrol prices ko dekhte hue, ye bike kaafi economical prove hoti hai.
Comfort bhi iska strong point hai. Seat lambi aur comfortable hai, rider aur pillion dono ke liye. Riding posture straight hai, isliye long rides ke baad bhi back ya shoulders me zyada pain feel nahi hota. Suspension rough roads aur speed breakers ko achhe se handle karta hai.
Maintenance ke point of view se bhi Honda Shine kaafi pocket-friendly hai. Service cost reasonable hai, spare parts easily available hain aur Honda ka service network reliable hai.
Overall, agar aap ek reliable, fuel-efficient aur comfortable daily-use bike dhoondh rahe ho, to Honda Shine ek solid choice hai. Ye bike flashy nahi hai, lekin trust aur peace of mind zaroor deti hai.
