Reviews of Honda Shine

I am a fan of honda shine. But the bsvi version bike which I purchased in march, 2021 makes me upset 1. Poor headlight and 2. The sound of the bike. I enjoyed most the silent smooth sound of the earlier version. I experienced it on the highway and felt a single person can not ride above 80 kms speed comfortably.

So here I want to share my disappointing experience with honda shine bs6. I have bought the extended warranty, Teflon coating etc but initially, there was the issue of tuck sound from the front shock up and mudguard but service people applied a tap on the visor. The mirror issue was there but that is not sorted. Gear stuck and noise is there shown many time to service but no solution for that.
Many times are shown by the service center they just do general service, minor repairs. Even don't wash your bike.
They never change parts in the warranty period. Been fed up with there service.
They wrote bike reading 12304 on Dec 22 while the current reading is 9198.

ride quality & handling- best, but sometimes its gear doesn't work well.

Final words- it should be imroved. And the new version of cb shine is not looking awesome as before due to changing its headlight look.

Areas of improvement - there should be digital meter instead of analog meter, and the old headflight should b maintained instead of new.

2.) over 3 years, I found no problem even riding over 500 km on the same day
3.) Decent look and better performance due to het technology of honda.

I purchased Honda shine in 2018 may, after a lot of researches based on performance, mileage, cost etc. The bike has the good look and it is all about the body built the structure and the body parts are made more stronger and even the more stronger the mileage can't get affected it has a good mileage range of 60 km/l and the bike has a top speed of 120 km/h and even if you want to buy a bike in a range of 70000 it is the most suitable bike for every person and I suggest to go through the bike and check once.

Perfect handling with better brakes and speed. This is the best bike in this price range. You should also try it .

Mileage is very low 45 to 50kms only giving mileage.

While driving vehicle after crossing 60kms speed getting heavy sound in engine.

Free service done by service centre while giving service i was told my side problems everything is noted last three times i am told him while driving my bike is producing heavy sound,back break giving noise, near tail light come some vibration sound.It has not rectified by your service centre.Next service i am given by local mechanic shop he is getting just rs 500 he is doing well.Every free service i am paying rs 700.

Honda Shine is a good bike for all. It is a good ride experience for me. There is no problem at all. Mileage is good, comfortable even for 3 rides. I am liking it. Suspension is good, pick up is good. No problem, checkup regularly, change oil regularly. Shine is better for other two wheelers. That's why I recommend the best two wheelers in India.

My first experience with the showroom(so called biggest showroom in Bhubaneswar) where I bought the bike was very poor with no or very minimal customer focus by the sales staff, the staffs hardly care about the customers, the most disappointing part was that the showroom don’t have vehicle for test ride and simply have excuse of pandamic,however with all the disappointments I finally bought the bike but so far my riding experience has been just below average in terms of handling and comfort when I compare with tvs victor 2016 which I drove for more than 4 years, the only positive I feel is it’s 125cc engine, even the build quality is also inferior. I feel Honda could offer much better features and quality at the price point that they are charging.
