Honda Livo review

Anil Kumar N R

One of the worst vehicle i have seen. Engine gets too much heat with in 10kms ride and that too after 6 months of my purchase it's getting even worst as am not able to put my right leg on break peddle. Because it's getting heated excessively. Even service people are hopeless on this complaint. As usual the service people are arrogant for the demand of what brand honda.

Super 110cc Engine

Rajmohan Np

Initially, I was planning to go for a 150cc bike, but due to the rise in petrol charges, I opted to go with a 110cc engine. After several reviews and searches, I came up with three bike manufacturers. TVS Radeon, Hero Passion Xtec, Honda Livo. At first, I was planning to buy a TVS Radeon because of the bike's Exhaust note and superb mileage, Hero was just considered only, with no intention of purchasing, last moment I was struck with Honda. Then after several calculations, decided to go with the Honda engine because of their stability and Trust.
As of now, there were no complaints about the riding experience because I rode this bike from Hosur to Chennai (316KM) within 5 ½ hours. I never felt any discomfort or Shoulder pain.
The bike design seems to be outdated. If I want to change one thing in this bike, then I would like to change the rear tail lamp design and put LED lights in both the Headlight and tail lamp. But still love i.
After one month of purchase, I feel a bit of an issue with Gear Box, the second gear feels a little bit sluggish and keeps on annoying me. After the first service, it’s been sorted out and now it feels good.
Pros
1) Decent Mileage (Getting around 62Kmpl)
2) Riding comfort
3) Smooth Engine
Cons
1) Lacks fifth gear (While riding, Still always pressing for fifth gear)
2) Required overhauling of bike looks and design.
3) I would like to have one or two Horsepower extra for this bike.

Best Bike - Honda Livo

Imran Shaikh

Pros:
Fuel Efficiency: The Honda Livo is known for its impressive fuel efficiency, making it an economical choice for daily commuting.
Design: Riders often appreciate the stylish and modern design of the Livo. It stands out in terms of aesthetics in the commuter bike segment.
Comfortable Riding Position: The bike is designed with a comfortable riding posture, making it suitable for both short city commutes and longer rides.
Smooth Engine Performance: The Livo usually features a refined engine, providing smooth acceleration and a hassle-free riding experience.
Build Quality: Honda motorcycles are generally known for their solid build quality, and the Livo is no exception. Riders often find it durable and reliable for regular use.
Cons:
Top-end Power: Some riders may find the top-end power of the Livo to be relatively moderate. It is designed more for efficiency and everyday usability rather than high-speed performance.
Features: While the Livo offers essential features, it may lack some of the advanced features found in higher-end bikes. This is a trade-off to keep the cost competitive in the commuter segment.
Suspension: Depending on personal preferences, some riders might find the suspension a bit on the stiffer side, especially on rough roads.

Inspect and Adjust Chain: Keep the drive chain well-lubricated and properly tensioned. Adjust the chain as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Brake Maintenance: Check brake fluid levels regularly. Inspect brake pads for wear and replace them if necessary. Tire Care: Maintain proper tire pressure as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Check for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage on the tires. Rotate tires periodically for even wear. Regularly Check Lights and Electricals: Ensure all lights (headlights, taillights, indicators) are functioning properly. Check the battery for proper voltage and charge it as needed. Suspension System: Inspect the suspension system for leaks or damage. Lubricate suspension components as recommended. Cooling System: Check the coolant level regularly and top it up if necessary. Inspect hoses and the radiator for any leaks or damage. Regular Cleaning: Keep the bike clean to prevent dirt and grime buildup. Use a mild detergent and a soft cloth for cleaning. Inspect and Tighten Fasteners: Regularly check and tighten loose nuts, bolts, and fasteners. Pay attention to critical components like the handlebars, footpegs, and exhaust system. Check Cables: Inspect throttle and clutch cables for proper operation and lubricate if needed. Replace any frayed or damaged cables promptly. Fuel System Maintenance: Keep the fuel system clean by using quality fuel. Use fuel additives periodically to clean the fuel system. Storage Considerations: If storing the bike for an extended period, use a fuel stabilizer. Consider using a motorcycle cover to protect it from the elements.
