A budget performance bike with a big bike feel to it.

Good buying experience,
Nice to ride, will give you a big bike feel,
0-100 is pretty quick, but the comfortable cruising speed is around 6400rpm in 5th gear which is 85-90. As soon as you cross 110 kph the bike tends to feel stressed. The bike is super stable at this speed and confident aspiring. I choose this bike for the usd and
Engine refinement is the key highlight.
City riding and daily commute are good as the bike weighs only 142 kg kerb, which makes it easy to filter through the traffic the reason I would choose a motorcycle over a car in traffic.
Even after all the premium feel this bike has to offer service and maintenance of this bike is easy on your pocket. Use chain spray after every 300-400 km ride and keep it clean.
Pros.
-looks
-usd feels premium
-gives you a big bike feel
-stability
-engine refinement.
Cons
-plastic quality and fit and finish could have been better.
-headlight is not for a night ride on the highway with speed.
-the rearview mirrors are useless
-the chassis looks so basic, could have used two rods in front instead of a single.
-the metal parts like the muffler catches rust soon.
The paint quality on those metal parts could have been better.
Last, I hope honda will not discontinue this bike, instead, they will upgrade this bike into a more premium package, if they discontinue this bike as they did with the legendary cbf stunner which was the previous bike I will surely not visit a honda showroom again in future.

2.5 years of Hornet and many years to go.

Prajnyan Sarma

I bought a Honda Hornet 2.0 from Bimal Honda Adabari, Guwahati Assam on 18th June 2021. The main purpose behind selecting this bike was the frequent weekend trips between Guwahati and Tezpur and the occasional rides to Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. Therefore, I have used this bike for daily commutes within the cities and highway rides some of which have been the ones with pretty bad roads that tested the suspension system.
The looks and performance of the bike justify its category as a street bike. In the performance sector, there are definite vibrations that can be felt once the 85kmph limit is crossed. However, with proper riding gear, the effects of vibrations can be greatly reduced and the ride becomes very smooth. As the ergonomic of the bike is quite comfortable with a little bit of aggressive stance, one can easily ride 200 km at one go. Apart from the ride quality which can be easily rated as 4/5, this bike provides good mileage too. It goes around 40 kmpl on highways and 38 kmpl within the cities.
The engine of the bike lives up to the saying of the reliability of the Honda engine. Within 2.5 years, a 22500 km ride was completed on this bike without any engine issues. For the maintenance of this bike, paid servicing was always done after 6000km or 6 months. The check-up of the chain and its cleaning and lubrication is done after every 1000km but sooner if the rides involved bad roads.
However, there are two cons apart from all the good positive aspects
1. A little bit of engine oil that minutely seeps through the engine oil inlet.
2. Low power of the headlamp.
But none of these are deal breakers. The oil seepage stopped as soon as the valve was changed.
Overall the bike can be easily rated as 4/5 taking into consideration the suspension, engine reliability, service experience, ergonomics and handling.

Tips for other riders

Rely on the user manual rather than the words of the mechanics. This will help to avoid a lot of servicing hassles and scams.

My review of my honda hornet 2.0

Amit

Buying - I bought it for 1,56,000 rs chakdah , west bengal with all accessories (seat cover and leg guard )
Riding - seating position is a little sporty but it's comfortable, 1 gear too much power feels torquey, little vibration in 2 nd gear at higher rpm . You have to ride it 3rd or 4th gear for smooth riding. I usually use it 4th gear and I am satisfied with no vibration and good control.
Looks - obviously, looks are a subjective matter but those golden fronts are eye-catching, look premium, and look decent, I love my bike looks which are matt red colour.
Servicing - good, it depends on which showroom you buy.
Pros - looks, honda engine, smoothness, controlling, all led
Cons - no mudguard so muds come up easily, no liquid cooling thought engine did not heat much.
That's it folks hope you guys read my entire review if you want to buy this bike, buy it you won't disappoint it's the perfect combination of power and mileage you can daily commute as well as a tour on this bike. thanks.
