Style

a simple basic style is a delight for a conservative commuter. Certainly not the best looking when it comes to styling yet one could not find faults with the looks. Considering the looks of the bike is very much dependent upon the perceptions, one can certainly say it will not look out of place for any user from a teenager to a senior citizen. The quality of the plastic used in switch panels coild have been better. Overall 7 on 10 rating.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox

a wonderful engine. Truely a honda experience. Smooth functioning and unbelievably perky for a 110 cubic capacity. Fuel economy on a slightly lower side compared to a certain bajaj discover yet i managed about 55km/l in superheavy mumbai traffic. On highway it returned around 62 kmpl at a consistent speed of 60-65 kmph. Gear shift is impressive. Little hard in a lower shift from 1st to neutral but that may be a peculiar case with the specific bike. I must say one surely misses a 5th gear taking into account the unbelievable power delivery of the 110 cc honda engine.

Ride quality & handling

extremely light and easy to handle. A delight in heavyy city traffics as it slips throgh the traffice with the ease of fish in water. It is quite perky in pick up and does a real good job till about 70kmph; beyond that vibrations are exprienced but who rides a commuter above that speed. Suspension could have been better and the back takes its toll on monsoon roads in mumbai with full of potholes. However, it was too much to expect from a commuter and the suspension is on no better-not worse terms with its competitiors.

Braking is extremely poor. Forget the nonavialabilitty of disc breaks, the available drum brakes are no good. Even at the speed of 40 you have a braking distance of 8-10 meteres. Can get really emabarassing in traffics.

Final words

probably the best commuter segment bike in the market. Can't call it a value for moneyy as it is sold at premium compared to the competitors. However, honda it is and you feel it when you ride.

Areas of improvement

asthetics, braking, a 5th gear in a reportair will take it to a different high.

Pros

fuel economy, perkiest pick up in the segment

cons

braking, poor plastics in switch gear, 5th gear is sorely missed

This bike was my first one at high school, I visited other bike showrooms as well but it was a new dude in town who covered the auto market, I took my parents there and they agreed as it was stunning as well as reliable at that time. It did not give tough times except in winter when we needed to force ignite it for a bit but it was fun back then, its service cost was also reasonable, good decent performance for city rides, it is still there in my hometown where my father sometimes ride it and by me as well whenever I got a chance. We even sometimes did tripling in local non-highway areas with friends for fun and going places, it now become a part of a family which is why we also did puja every diwali along with our car which is also HONDA, it also gave some tough times in irregular roads but what we can say "skill makes everything easy".

It was worth it when it came to buying. For a 50 - 70 kg guy, it is a comfortable bike and good riding experience. It's a decent-looking bike when it comes to look and very much office look type, nice performance. Servicing every 4 months is recommended and easy to maintain for everybody including college boys. The pros are the price range, mileage, very family-type, and Good for city areas but not suitable for village roads. The cons are Chain socket problem is not solved the same issue in all Honda bikes, spare parts issue, lifetime of engine and bike.

The Honda Yuga is a 110cc commuter motorcycle known for its fuel efficiency, comfort, and affordability. Launched in 2012, it has received mixed reviews over the years. The Yuga excels in fuel economy, delivering between 60-70 kmpl depending on riding conditions. This makes it a budget-friendly option for daily commutes. The comfortable riding posture, cushioned seat, and well-tuned suspension make it suitable for long rides. Honda is known for reliable engines, and the Yuga is no exception. It requires minimal maintenance and is known for its durability. The Yuga is priced competitively in its segment, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. The lightweight design and maneuverability make it easy to navigate through traffic and tight spaces. The 110cc engine lacks power and struggles on inclines and with pillions. It's not ideal for highway riding. The Yuga lacks modern features like a digital instrument cluster, disc brakes, and fuel injection. Some users report issues with fit and finish, and the overall build quality might not feel as premium as some competitors. Honda's service network, while extensive, might not be as widespread as some other brands in rural areas. The Honda Yuga is a solid commuter motorcycle for those prioritizing fuel efficiency, comfort, and affordability. However, if you need more power, modern features, or a premium feel, you might want to consider other options in the segment.

Honda has the best class two-wheelers and this is one of honda products. This is the full value of money, I have been using this bike since 2015 and still, there is no issue faced by me regards to the engine. Sound still like I bought it this year back, bike's paint quality is top notch it still has the same shine as it was five-seven years back.
For daily city use who are looking for a good average and easy handling, should go for it
People who are looking for a heavy bike or a sporty look should avoid it.

  • Better go for other bikes

    Madhu Kiran

I have been using this bike since 9 years.
    Pros:
Its a comfortable bike for 110cc engine for daily purpose.
The model & the style is good.
Riding the bike gives you comfortable journey.
    Cons:
1.The bike doesn't 84 km/l as said, the max it gives is 58 km/l if we maintain it in a good condition & make servicing regularly & ride at a constant speed.
    2. Chain socket problem not solved same issue in all Honda bikes.
3.Spare parts of the bike are not available with any dealers in the city. For spare parts we have to wait more than 6 months.
    4. Body parts are so weak & quality is less.
    5. As dealers doesn't know how to make service for the bike.
    6. They don't listen to the problem we are facing, just make a water wash & give it to us.

The price of this bike is affordable. It looks is very good and it suspension is also very nice.It gives a mileage of 75km.Its maintenance cost is also very low. After every 10 to 20 thousand kilometres, I change the oil. After every year I give this bike for service. It is a good bike for daily use ...
