Style

classic style with modern apperance, almost derived from old hero honda splendor product line. Best choice for those who are not looking for modern sports bike like apperance, and for those who don't want to spend extra money just for style.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox

very good pickup in below 110cc segment, pulling power is smoothly distributed over four gear range so less gear shits are required in city traffic. Gear shifting is smooth and easy without any unwanted noises or slippings. I've done total 170km, mostly in highways within 40km-50km speed range, which gives me 71km/ltr mileage.

Ride quality & handling

good seating position, stability, easy handling and control.

Final words

my review/comparison is strictly limited to below 110cc bikes because this one is 109cc.

I've been using hero honda splendor since 1995 without any serious issues till date.

When i decided to buy a new bike, the first thing i did was visit the showrooms most popular brands like honda, hero, bajaj, yamaha, suzuki and mahendra in my area and ask for a test ride. Then collected the feedback of my friends who are using those makes and models. After going through friends feedback and my test drive experience, i zeroed in on honda dream neo because of the following reasons.

1) Honda engines are well known for its quality, durability and fuel efficiency.

2) Many of my friends use honda bikes and none of them advised me against going for honda make.

3) I was looking for a balance between power,mileage,style,comfort and price.

4) I couldn't find a bike with same features for almost same price. (Self start, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres)

5) even the honda dream yuga is priced a few thousands above neo. But both comes with same engine, gear box etc. Only the style and wheel base is different. So didn't find any serious benefit in going for yuga.

I avoided the other makes because of the given below reasons.

Hero - it was my second choice because of almost equally comparable to honda in engine,build quality and service availability. But the price is high for the same feature set compared to honda.

Bajaj - friends using bajaj model didn't recommend it because it gives them continuous troubles even under warranty period.

Yamaha - engine and build quality is almost equal to honda. But price is high for the same feature set compared to honda, and low mileage. Service centres are also less in numbers.

Suzuki - difficult to get service and spare parts especially in long run. Low milegage and price is high for the same feature set compared to honda.

Mahindra - vibrations, more gear shifts are needed in city traffic, low pickup, durability & quality of engine are not known,and service support is not good at least this point of time. Electronic security system is the main attraction. But the security systems with almost the same features are availbale for any bikes in after market for around rs 1500/- from companies like xenos, minda etc.

In my opinion, its the bike for you if you are looking for a commuter bike with good power, mileage, style, comfort and all those within reasonable price.

Areas of improvement

it would be better if neo comes with disk brake option, with side cover key locks instead of screws.

Superb bike in this segment

Hi, i bought this bike in 2012 from a reputed honda agency the behavior of the agents were quite good and they were very helpful in term of their services.I usually ride 50 km per day on this bike that is home to office and vice versa the experience was too good. Never feel annoying while riding.The performance of the bike is amazing and it's look give it a stand against other bikes really feeling proud to be owner of the bike I used to maintain my bike on monthly basis. The service was done once in a month by service agency. I never feel that my bike is not performing due to lake of service.Pro: Smoother seat Comfortable ride Less vibrations Amazing braking power Performance is good. Cons: Wheel alignment is to be considered Head light is quite dim Indicator to be changed looks like old style Overall bike is superb in term of all criteria.

Excellent bike, Good performance

Trouble free and offers smooth driving. Less maintenance cost. Worthy for money. has a shiny and elegant look also has a good grip in the tyres. The shock absorbers are also excellent in bumpy and undulating roads. pillion rider feels very comfortable also at high speed. It is a very well balanced bike.

very worst suspension cause backpain

it's good in average but I stared backpain due to its suspension is not good otherwise it's okay.
you can go for it if you are not conscious about your health but money.
looking is good and durable for village places.
not good for long riding only for short distance it's no issue.
best for economically backward class not for all.

This bike is very good. When i ride on bike i feel comfortable. It's amazing bike. This bike mileage is very good. Mileage above 60.Motorcycle body is very nice. The voice of this bike mostly i like.The wings on motorcycle is attractive. Dashboard of this bike is too good.

Best bikes for long distance travelling

This bike provides a mileage of 66-70 in ridding. It is best for long distances and this parts are easy to mention. Services are best in honda showrooms Only a hand of people uses it but the difference is it's mileage. Honda bikes had a great discover, i think after purchasing this bike.

Best ever commuter in its segment.

Bought this bike in 2016 and still now it gives it's top end performance as a commuter bike. Well controlled and efficient power delivery as a 110cc motorcycle. Very comfortable sitting posture and gives out very good mileage. equipped with the bike comes two analog meter: speedometer and fuel gauge and with it comes a old pattern odometer. in short, i just loved this bike. A wonderful motorcycle for beginners and new learners.

very worst suspension cause backpain

it's good in average but I stared backpain due to its suspension is not good otherwise it's okay.
you can go for it if you are not conscious about your health but money.
looking is good and durable for village places.
not good for long riding only for short distance it's no issue.
best for economically backward class not for all.

1:-honda bike is performance.Honda bike look good.All new system.Starting bike no sound 2:-servicing and maintenance charge is low 3:-honda bike is system very good 4:-mileage good new system abs 5:-i touch self start.This bike is very powerful and performance . This bike is very good. When i ride on bike i feel comfortable. It's amazing bike. This bike mileage is very good. Mileage above 60.Motorcycle body is very nice. The voice of this bike mostly i like.The wings on motorcycle is attractive. Dashboard of this bike is too good.

Good bike city ride and bangalore traffic best bike bike good comfort to me ...Good average mileage depending on your maintenance of bike shock absorber is good for our roads and good looking and stylish for both men women boys and girls black is the best bike for me and best bike for less money and more useful.

Best bikes for long distance travelling

This bike provides a mileage of 66-70 in ridding. It is best for long distances and this parts are easy to mention. Services are best in honda showrooms Only a hand of people uses it but the difference is it's mileage. Honda bikes had a great discover, i think after purchasing this bike.

It has been immense pleasure for me riding this bike for more than a year.And i feel i need to share these things.There are more things to say about this like its look design,suspension,its sound and compatibility.I never have felt that it's the time i should change or get a new bike for me.Overall i must say this is amazing.

Best ever commuter in its segment.

Bought this bike in 2016 and still now it gives it's top end performance as a commuter bike. Well controlled and efficient power delivery as a 110cc motorcycle. Very comfortable sitting posture and gives out very good mileage. equipped with the bike comes two analog meter: speedometer and fuel gauge and with it comes a old pattern odometer. in short, i just loved this bike. A wonderful motorcycle for beginners and new learners.

I really interested to buy this bike it’s really looks good and i had bike dream yuga and gives good mileage & value for money and road grip is good long drive will be good in this bike you can really buy this bike and moreover everything is super engine sound is good and very smooth all performance is good.
