A good scooter to own

1. Good fuel economy. I am getting around 65-67 km/l.
2. Very good handling and dynamics.
3. Seat height is not so high. Good for short-height persons.
4. Led headlight is good. It illuminates the road nicely even in the pitch dark.
5. Suspension is well balanced. It absorbs the road undulations nicely.
6. Brakes are on the downside. Not good. They could have included disk brakes. Brake bites are not confidence-boosting.
7. It has an engine kill switch which I enjoy a lot. Even higher-range bikes always do not have it. Good feature.
8. Under-seat storage is average.
9. Another good side is the fuel lid is external, so you won't need to open the seat every time you go to the petrol pump.
10. Scooter bodies and panels are made out of plastic. In activa you will get the metal body.
11. the Best thing about this scooter is the engine. It is super smooth and silent. Honda always rocks in the engine department.

2. Support on accessories: battery life
Agree that due to pandemic period ( covid) didn't ride a bike ( ride up to 3200 km) , due to which battery needs a charge, given to adyar branch for service, then onward, issue occurred.
1. Often self-start fail.
2. Unable to kick start
3. Even the kick start bike won't start.
Service support says: since bike and not in use or idle for a long period. The life of the battery is dead.
The product ( clutch ) might have been worn for an idle period or not been used.
The tech statement is wearied,, is honda product is vegetable that if not in use, will they go unusable.
The statement is weird, this is not a vegetable, right?

It was at 2013 my family decided to buy our first vehicle and my brother was a fan of honda vehicles . So we decided on buying a honda scooter and went to the nearest showroom and star struck with the iconic dio . This vehicle is evergreen everyone have this best seller among 110 cc scooters and decided to buy just that . And within 2 months our first vehicle came . As it was our first vehicle in the family the riding experience was very mesmerizing . I have nothing to explain the joy of your first scooter . So smooth and agile . And the looks too very much sporty and down headlight which only dio had back then . It was white in colour and gorgeous . Low sound at all and the person sitting back can enjoy the ride as it has a wide handle bar like thing . First service was at 500 kms . As honda is a trustworthy manufacturer no need to worry my dios first service was done . The brakes were tighten the body was water washed . Clean look and oils changed which made it even smooth . I myself find my dio very good family vehicle . It is affordable has the mileage , perfect weight and trendy look . The only con that i now find in this 2022 is that of a digital display for fuel meter and newer dios have the mileage bar but for a scooter brought for 8 years back . And the mobile charging and external fuel fill. I am satisfied with my beloved dio . We thought of exchanging it to a new dio . But he hasn't made our trips go break in middle . Though there were tire punctures . He has always been a part of our family and still is . Dio are the reliable scooter you can get from honda and with the mileage and smoothness you can't resist it . Go for the dio . I recommend it for anyone looking for a classic scooter
