Buying a honda cbr is never a big deal, hired a finance agency and went down to show room

The availability of machine is based on your request for particular color and location of the show room.

Riding, the most favorite time of every biker, is a little bit low than expected as you experience a slow pickup at the beginning compared to the most sports bikes now, but it never disappoints you on the highway.

Look and sitting position are just ridiculously awesome, the only reason i bought comes with the perfect braking system.

Servicing is the horrible thing, they do good with regular service but if at all any part is damaged oh my goodness, you miss your bike for more than 2 weeks.

Beware of that before buying a cbr

    Finally,

you'll love the seating style and looks, yet disappointed buy the range that goes from 0-60.

Hello there i bought my cbr150r back in 2013. There were many options then like 220f, NS200, Duke200 but Honda is Honda you can rely on it. Though me and my bike have crossed 1lac kms and still the engine is untouched and its still going strong, That's the Honda's reliability. Coming on riding. Its fun to ride its performance loaded bike well you can use it as a daily commuter as well and also as a beast mode. Even it gives tough competition to NS200 and RS200. Even I have gone to Ladakh on my it and it was quite comfortable. The looks are genuine. Its love it or hate it bike. But I love it and the performance is unmatched. But the low torque doesn't give you the thrust in the start but the mid and high range is awesome. Maintenance is a bit costly but is worth. As i have crossed 1lac kms. As far as i am concerned the bikes of other brands won't last long as this. The only con of this bike is its low torque-its not just a machine its an emotion.

  • Is honda cbr 150 r worthing buying in 2019

    Rajas Ansurkar

It was a great bike (till 2014) to be owned as your first bike. The easiest way to describe honda's cbr 150 r is to say that it is a well balanced bike. Although being such a good bike honda failed to upgrade itself along with its competitors and just focused on minimal cosmetic upgrades rather than performance.

  • Fun to ride , butter smooth engine and Reliable

I bought CBR 150R in 2013 now it's 2020, that's almost 7 years ago I bought it. It's Still running well. The service center is just pathetic. They will just literally destroy your bike the mechanics are some bunch of idiots . That's why I service it in some reputed local garages outside. The performance is awesome for 150cc category. It's under-powered in low end and decent in mid-range and it's just a beast in top end there is not much pull from the engine below 5,000 rpm after 5k rpm the bike pulls really well and when it reaches 7k rpm it literally becomes a beast. It can easily reach 140 kmph and it's top speed is around 150kmph , if you use Premium engine oil. But if you use mineral oil don't expect much performance and mileage . The bike vibrates at the speed of 80 to 85 kmph and lags power if you use cheap mineral engine oil. I used motul 7100 and 300 V2 with Loqui moly oil additive and then the bike became butter smooth . I cruise at the speed of 100 to 110 without any vibrations. And mileage is around 38 to 40 kmpl in city and 45 to 48 in highway if you cruise at 75 to 80 kmph ( with premium engine oil). It's chain needs lube more early at around 250 kms if you don't lube its chain you won't get much performance.

It was a great experience. In short cbr150 is all rounder. We can ride it off-road 70-80 kmph very comfortably And 100 -110 on highway for longer distance. Great pickup (1 gear:51,2:80,3:105,4:120 and so on...It gives mileage of 50-55 km per 100 rs fuel. I bought this bike in 2015 and now its 19 and this bike has same pickup.

    1. Buying experience was hassle free.

    2. Riding experience is best, comfort at its best. Owned this monster for more than 4 years. Still its awesome, only you have to service your bike timely.

    3. Looks - monster, performance is good. Better than yamaha r15.

    4. Servicing and maintenance cost is little bit high. But if you are buying a sports bike then its normal.

The cbr 150r is awesome, i bought in 2014 and still using it, i drove in all conditions still no issues. Just service it properly every 6 months once (atleast general checkup) then the bike is same as new. Engine is best and no noise nothing, mileage getting worse as years pass unless u maintain your driving, but do not expect mileage in a sports model. Still now i love riding my bike and i enjoy every sec of driving. It is so smooth even after 4 years. The bike parts and the plastics on the front is really reliable, i see no cracks or scratch for any silly reasons. Overall must buy bike.

  • A cbr fan writes about 150r as he owns one

    Naveen Kumar
