it looks everything same as the honda cbr 250r :d when you stop your bike in a road signal every eyes will be watching you :p that kind of style this bike has :)

engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox

well its engine is very refined and high revving engine. It pulls even at 11,500 rpm :d it does 120 easily :) top speed is around 145+ :) as far sports bikes are concerned you won't get any mileage. But cbr 150r gives me around 45kmpl(both city and highway) when i ride my bike around 90-100 :)gear box is messy sometimes.

engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox: engines roars like its ready to takeoff, it gives us options in which zone you want me to perform low or normal or high or gradual increase or full power..It depends on our mood on which mode to ride, usually catches full power at high rpm, engine is loveable, mileage it gives around 30kmpl at city and 40kmpl at highway riding, gear box is a complete mess you need to push it real hard, and its hard this is where honda can improve for next version of cbr 150r

ride quality & handling: it usually is not straining on your body, real comfort in your hands excellent handling feels very confident to maneuver anywhere, sharp cuts or long highway bends

final words: my engine is roaring inviting me to play with it, she became my darling in no time she listens to me i listen to her, i command she obeys never says never....Great work by honda compared to the nasty sounding yamaha r15 v2,

Why Honda would not launch it in India? 300 cc is not in my budget but I have this in budget if it doesn't launch till oct 2022 I will go for Yamaha last option. Honda open your brains. Cb200x you are selling but not CBR 150r. Hats off. I love everything about this bike. Finally have the money but no option to purchase it.

I bought cbr 150 r pre-owned because its my dream bike when I was toddler at that time my age is around 12 and I see this bike in commercial ad basically it was an cbr 250 r and I wish to buy it in 150 segment and pray to god and finally it's arrive in India but in 2018 when I am eligible to ride it. it discontinued so I reject yzf series including v3 and bought this bike it's have a amazing handling, controlling, braking in comparison of other bikes posture is excellent but all as no one can appreciate that because of lack of knowledge of types of engine it's dohc so initial pick up is slow in comparison of sohc but mid and high range rev is amazing and sound like super bike wind blast zero, sitting is comfortable no back pain and wrist pain. No heating problem and the most one service center technician are idiots no knowledge about how to deal cbr, if you are in lucknow don't visit Jugal kishore Honda visit Honda hajratganj and envision Honda thedipuliya ,don't use Honda genuine engine oil it is an grade of 10w30 but company recommend 10w40 I use motul but remember motul recommend 1.2l but put 1l only when I use Honda genuine oil clutch plates burned in starting of winter so I recommend to avoid engine oil only. Currently achieve average in city is 39 while commuting in 60 km/h but while above the 60 km/h. I achieved 36 km/l in highways it give 42 km/l while cruising at 90 to 110 km/h. In last there are one common problem no one is put hands on cbr in after market easily and giving cbr to an un expert technician is to kill your calmness. In last cbr is not an machine it's a feeling for my self and many.

  • Overall superb after riding for 18000 kms in 3 years

    Rohith B

Buying experience:I bought honda cbr 150r standard version (white & black color) in 2015 from vaishnaoi honda, kondapur, hyderabad. I didn't have any extra accessories fixed to cbr as it looks complete to be driven on road. Billing & handover of bike is done within 2 hrs after completion of all payments. Overall buying experience is not bad from honda showroom. Riding experience:My first ride is from showroom to my home where i need to travel through national highway and the ride was mind blowing. I didn't test for higher speed as it was a new engine but smoothness and comfort wise bike has shown good satisfaction. Initially people habituated to regular motorcycles may find some difficulty in riding specially in sharp turns due to two piece handle position. Coming to the ergonomics you might need to bend slightly but not too bad as people expect by seeing the bike. I never experienced back pain even after long riding of bike for 3-4 hrs. Cornering feel on cbr is awesome and amazing which i experienced when road turns slightly left or right. Braking is good, vehicle feels very balancing even on complete rest mode for 1-2 seconds.Looks and performance:Looks wise cbr is top among its peers. Its truly eye catching for all when it passes by. I use premium petrol like xtra premium/power for fuel and i am able to get 42 kmpl on highways and 36-38 kmpl while riding in city traffic conditions. Spare parts of cbr are available at all honda servicing centers and at decent pricing. My cbr touched maximum speed of 128 kmph on bangalore - hyderabad highway.Servicing and maintenance: i serviced cbr regularly at honda service center of vaishnao honda, kondapur. They have separate trained mechanics for cbr. Paid servicing would cost around rs. 1500 which includes engine oil, labor and taxes. I use to do servicing every once in 4 months irrespective of no. Of kms driven. I changed sprocket twice till date in a span of 42 months & air filter once in the given period. I already mentioned mileage in performance section & its decent for the performance delivered Pros:1) looks2) cornering & balancing 3) 6 way speed transmission for higher speeding 4) descent mileage can be all in one bike as sports bike & for daily commute 5) oil cooled - fuel injection technology engine6) even in cold conditions, starts engine immediately after single press on engine start 7) disk brakes at front & backCons)1) doesn't have an option of dipper. No separate switch key given to switch off the engine, where key on signifies engine is ready to start.2) i seriously don't have more cons :)
