didn't get the bike when I wanted.. booked and back got the delivery of the bike after the booking date...
it's good to ride.. engine sound is smooth and bikes pickup and it's speed is pretty good..
the new model of Honda cb shine sp look awesome with it's new body graphics and addition of something near the tank looks great I would prefer you buy the disc brake variant version.. disc brake performs great and the engine performance is great... and the 5 gear's help you to more accelerate
I don't know the service and maintain of this bike bcz I'm a new customer with 10 days off experience
mileage they claim about 60 but I think it gives around 52-55.

  • Honda shine a must buy

    Pankaj Kumar

I wanted to buy a fuel economic bike for my daily use to go to my office and after a long research i chosen this one. I went to the showroom and i found it eye catching. First looks of the motorcycle was awesome. I bought it and found that the riding quality of the motorcycle is great. Pickup is good and riding is smooth. I am getting a mileage of 50-55kmpl. You may get a better mileage upto 58 if you ride at 50kmph speed. Full marks for the performance. Service is also good and maintenance is low. Here are some pros:Nice look, good pickup, handling is good, good to ride upto 70kmph speed, mileage is good.Cons:You don't feel confident when riding above 70kmph. The rear tyre grip isn't great so it slips if you apply brakes on higher speed.Rear tyre should have had lil wider.Overall a good buy.. You should go for it. I am riding this bike for last 2 years.

The bike is good with performance but the gear shift is very poor the silencer should have been more quieter as the previous model .The head lamp is not on brighter side the seats are long wide but not enough cushioning for highway drives. Ceat tubeless tyres are waste could have wider tyres like stunner for better grip. The tachometer does not show distance to empty like the new glamour .

  • Honda cb shine sp

    Kundan Kumar Sahu

Honda cb shine sp has gotten an aggressive design which is leo inspired and has gotten a decent ergonomics which is good for a tourer, the bike gives you a premium feel while riding, the rear mudguard is a bit mess, as far as i concerned instead of rear mudguard tyre huger can give a stunning look, the auto head lamps with led lights adds another extra point to the looks.

When it comes to performance the power delivery is very linear and it will be fun to ride in highways, it has got 35nm torque and 35bhp power. You don't really need aggressive down shifting for overtaking in highway since it has the ability to produce the torque instantly anywhere between the power band, the only disappointment i felt is it cannot be driven at low speeds at higher gears you can feel the engine lugs hence it needs frequent downshifts and up-shifts in the city ride comparing to other premium segment bikes and i have tested the fuel economy accurately, it falls somewhere between 30-35 which saves your purse from slimming, the slipper clutch does its job well. The shifting is pretty smooth and nothing is there to complain on it.

The bike weighs 182 kgs which make it a midsize tourer, although it weighs more you don’t feel that once you get on it, in highways it gives you a stable ride which boosts our confidence level, the biggest bombshell for me is although the bike is big it gives you a good handling in city. The exhaust is bassy gives you vroom vroom sound and i am happy with it because i am not a big fan of dug dug and turr turr sound form re and ktm bikes.

The bike is worth for every penny and it is one of the best in its segment. I am fully satisfied with the bike, every time i ride i feel like dominating the road, yes!!

Rear mudguard and engine lugging at low speeds must be improved, the key holder design is not that good.

    Pros

Look, led head lamp, ergonomics, fuel economy, fit and finish

    Cons

    Tyres, rear brakes not effective

  • Without hesitation go ahead to buy this bike if you owe to a family man

    Ramkumar G

Looks and performance wise are fine. You have to service the bike for every 4000 kms or 4 months once. I have been ride above 25k. But still the performance and mileage was really good. You get 55 to 60 km/l mileage depends upon your riding. Without hesitation go ahead to buy this bike, if you owe to a family man.

    Ramkumar G

Looks and performance wise are fine. You have to service the bike for every 4000 kms or 4 months once. I have been ride above 25k. But still the performance and mileage was really good. You get 55 to 60 km/l mileage depends upon your riding. Without hesitation go ahead to buy this bike, if you owe to a family man.

didn't get the bike when I wanted.. booked and back got the delivery of the bike after the booking date...
it's good to ride.. engine sound is smooth and bikes pickup and it's speed is pretty good..
the new model of Honda cb shine sp look awesome with it's new body graphics and addition of something near the tank looks great I would prefer you buy the disc brake variant version.. disc brake performs great and the engine performance is great... and the 5 gear's help you to more accelerate
