Reviews of Honda CB Shine SP

A good bike. Looks wonderful and the paint job is great too..It has decent power for a 125 cc bike. Throttle response was good as well..Riding experience on it is ok. I felt it's not the best since the suspension and the seat felt a bit stiff. But after 3 or 4 months , it got better..Everything was smooth at the showroom while buying it..Service was ok too..

I bought this bike before 3 months i am feeling the vibration and i am not able to accelerate more than 50 - 60 km, at the time of buying there is no sound, in a three months of time i am getting sound and oil leakage from the engine.... I bought this with a dream but i am totally collapsed......

I had a tough choice between hero glamour and honda cb shine sp. I finally chose this bike because of additional 5th gear and due to the sturdy build quality of honda vehicles.The buying experience was bit disappointing. The bike is a good bike providing really good riding comfort.The looks are awesome.But the rear tyre is so thin so it is not visually appealing along with the safety factor.

The instrument cluster is also not trendy for such a 'sporty-commuter' bike.A tachometer should have been installed by honda.

The bike is light in weight,so riding is a piece of cake during city commutes.

The gear shifting was not at all smooth as expected as it got stuck sometimes.After the first service,this issue have been almost rectified.

The bike needs frequent gear shifting,this is an issue to be rectified.Also engine gets heated up frequently.

Apart from these this is a good bike with sporty looks and easy to handle type model.

Pros:light weight, redefined engine,good looks

Cons:gear shifting is tough,less power,poor instrument panel,thin rear tyre

Looking like a sports bike when we are riding it.

Best for all kinds of roads

I thought may be similar with other bikes coming to mileage but now it is giving same mileage what the retailer said me

So i believe and advise to anybody who wants to buy bikes to buy the same bike which i had

Riding quality is also good engine of honda is totally refined no vibration appears even on 80 kmpl. Sound of exhaust note is also good,

Mileage of the bike is around 60-65 kmpl. But it totally depends upon the riding style

The matter of concern is service b'coz honda's service is not up to the mark ,

Everything in the bike is pros,

But the cons can be only service but it is not an issue which will change the buying decision

My buying experience was pretty good.Riding experience is good the acceleration is very good but as you go at more speed engine tends to little bit noisy and it gets hot easily.Looks are awesome.Servicing is good and is easy to maintain this bike.It has better torque power but gradually lower performance at great speeds.

Pickup of the bike is very very good, i think its better then pulsar 150 from 0-60 km/h

Run very smoothly, handling is perfect. Braking system is very good as it have cbs technology. And it make us very comfortable for long drive users. As my experience mileage of the bike is about 63-68 km/litre. And that's all.

I m driving this bike from last one year and i am facing two problems 1. The average of my bike is 50 kmpl but the company said it will cross 60 kmpl per litre...All services are done but still it doesn't give atleast 55. I don't know the reason...Sometimes i got 45kmpl in city which a normal 150cc bike can give..2. When i drive the bike for more than half hour , i fell like i m swinging...So after 1 year change the back tyre with good grip...

1.If you want to buy , check another bike also 2. Riding experience is good but mainly my high speed is 85km/hr so this was not vibrate and smoothly going for ride and its good for long route travelling i travel with my bike 190km+190km=280km is the highest 3. Look good , performance is 50% good or 50%bad 4. Service centers provide you feedback option so you can use firstly bike after service then give.Feedback But after first service it give you mileage between 40-45km/ltr so m not agree with that ..After first service the brakes was good but combined braking system is not working well Pickup is also a good before first. Service After its low Braking lights low I have uses this bike. This is my bikes. 7th month but its creates problems.
