If you like a noisy powerhouse then only purchase activa 125 bsvi

I have been so much disappointed with the build quality of Honda activa that I want to warn the future customers about it. While the brand name and other things are all right, but what is the point when your activa 125 bsvi makes huge noises which is so much disturbing to the ears. I have had multiple rounds of reviews with service station and I have several noise clips with me which are evident that they just hide something why it makes so much noise. If you like a smooth engine better go for some other brand. Better would be that if you want to test activa 125 real pleasure, then just try to drive at 30 to 40 kms. You will hear some kind of hoarseness in the engine as if someone has chocked up its heart and voice box. Its so annoying sound and I have now been told by the service station that you will get that kind of sound only because honda has improved their engine. I was like funny on hearing it saying that they have improved their engine for making more sound and hence now made a noise powerhouse. I am so much disappointed now that i put in ear plugs while driving it because it feels so bad to see your hard earned 1 lakh rupees going down the drain and yet not been able to make any positive feeling of driving the car. I had driven tvs jupiter 125 and it was so smooth and does not make any kind of noises. The fear that I have it that it has just driven few 400 kms only and its giving me so much of a trouble, I doubt if it will sustain even more than 10k kms run. Usually its like ladies who drive this vehicle and they do not care but having spend so much, i would have felt lucky if i would have spend that much on tvs instead of honda. The service team is always eager to close down all the issues and they do not really care about solving the problem. In short if you want a driving and riding pleasure, dont go for activa 125, its such a waste engine and engineering has gone for a toss.

1.Buying experience was so nice , got it afresh right from godown , shiny and sparkling.2.More than 10000-15000 kms now and it works totally fine , soundless and smooth.3.Activa makes its debut on 2016-17 and its has its own brand equity as we all know. Name is enough.4.Servicing and maintenance is cost effective and superb.5. Pros everything. Cons: It has more of a feminine look.

Honda activa 125 - style meets substance

The honda activa 125 is honda's premier offerring in the 125cc segment in india. A wonderful scooter with great looks, styling and loaded with features, it is sure to attract anyone's attention. My search for a trendy yet reliable 125 cc scooter began in late 2016 but i could finalize my choice only in 2017 february when i finally decided that the activa 125 is the right choice for me. Intent on purchasing, i visited the nearest honda dealership in thrissur. The salesmen at the dealership were very polite and explained to me clearly each and every feature of the activa 125 and allowed me to take a test drive as well. Upon which i was greatly satisfied and immediately decided to purchase the disk brake variant. The buying experience was excellent, honda dealerships have great offers and i paid the whole amount and purchased the scooter right away. The scooter is absolutely an eye catcher with its front chrome grill, alloy wheels and great colours. The riding experience is butter smooth with great and steady acceleration, braking is spot on with the disk brakes and the combi brake system, telescopic suspension ensures that it can handle any road any day. The ride height is perfect for most and seats are comfortable, the seats are long and wide and ensure that the pillion rider is also comfortable. The underseat storage is sufficent, the footboard is also wide enough to carry any essential groceries or other items. The scooter has a mileage of around 45 km per litre on average, considering the traffic in the city, i consider it great. With regards to servicing, the services are to be done at 750 km or one month from purchase whichever is earlier and thereafter at every 3000 km interval or every 3 months. The first three services are free (no labour charges). The service centre staff are very professional and offer excellent service. Overall, the honda activa 125 is a great scooter for those who are looking for a premium, feature packed scooter for daily commute. Although competitors do offer more powerful alternatives, the scooter ticks all the right boxes for most consumers.Pros:1. Smooth riding.2. Spacious and comfortable seating.3. Premium look and feel.4. Wide service network.Cons:1. Not as powerful as other 125 cc scooters.2. Ride quality with pillion is average.

A good option to travel within city

I bought activa 125 in april 2018 and it is working fine, except the fact it has a noise which according to technician is the noise of petrol device, other issue is that it has recently stopped while slowing down or at stiff braking. But now it has been fixed, hopefully this problem wont come again, else i have good experience with this vehicle.
