I was actually at the showroom because I was interested in the Crossfire 500X but the Cromwell was quite enticing to try out! The bike impressed with the starting UX itself! It was a beautiful start animation on the screen console, and the engine starting noise was just beautiful. The ride was torquey, comfortable and a joy to ride. I was immediately sold but the sales executive spoiled the experience with their attitude and arrogance. I asked about their service network in Bangalore and they told me that they had just one service center in Bangalore and someone buying the bike in North Karnataka would also have to come down to Bangalore for service. When I told them that this would be a problem as I lived in Whitefield, I was met with arrogance saying that this is something even BMW bike owners would face. I can't believe that they are comparing themselves with an established brand like BMW. The whole experience seemed like they were letting off the "buy it or get lost" vibe. They cannot afford to give such an attitude in a city like Bangalore. While requesting for test rides for other bikes, I was faced with questions like " do you wanna test ride every bike here?" Dude, you offer 3-4 bikes in your Brixton portfolio, why ask such questions even though your showrooms and service centers are literally empty? Really pissed me off and I left thinking if this is the experience even before becoming an owner, how would their ownership experience be like?
