Reviews of Hero Xtreme 200R

Buying experience was good. I mean ,how many extreme 200r do u see on the roads? i asked for the same and the sales guy didn't shy away from saying that it needs time to reach wider audience. A basic test ride and i could see it fits tall people. The ground clearance is fine, a display is a mid way of retro & premium analog meter.Turning around the corner and abs are smooth. The ease of travel at lows and mid are awesome but the higher end is an off point for a pro rider. Although one would expect more features; it emerges a winner in terms of commuting. An average of 37 kmpl,200 cc engine that can support two heavy guys(yaa..My bestie is a beast ) ,frontal design for air cooling with a strong low and mids performance combined with an abs is what one needs for the indian roads. Long distance rides will be an issue in terms of seat design and comfort of pillion riders. It caters to the family guy and the beginner who prefers sporty look and if you belong to both ,look no further.

I face a lot of problems. I feel headlight is not sufficient for night riding. I am getting pain at right leg ankle because rear break pedal position is not suitable to me. I feel engine sound is more. Feels engine is lacking power when compared to apache 200, pulsar 200, duke 200. I am getting back pain when i am taking it for a long drive.

Hero extreme 200r provides very good features in low budget which can be compared with the price's of 150cc segments bike . It can be used as a commuters bike as well as a sporty bike as it gives mileage 39 kmpl and it has a sporty look . The riding position is very good and the smoothness is also awesome.

Bike is really comfortable while driving on top gears. Look & performance is really awesome. The bike is really powerful. Service centre experience is really worst. The gear box is not so good Gears get lock while shifting from 3rd - 4th gear The issue is not resolved after going to the service centre 3 times The service centre experience is really worst. The bike is giving 40-45 kmpl in mumbai traffic situation so the mileage is really good.

Amazing bike !Go for it guys hero has done its best with this one !200c best bike of the year. It is always better to be late than never! hero motocorp definitely believed so when it re-entered the 200 cc motorcycle segment in India with the new hero xtreme 200r. This is the one of the fastest growing segments in India and having a presence in this segment definitely helps a manufacturer in getting good sales volume. It's been five months since hero launched the xtreme 200 r in India. I did rode the bike at buddh international circuit but now, we got a chance to ride it on regular city roads, and tried to understand the motorcycle better - how will it be as an everyday bike, and is it worth buying.

Servicing of the hero motor is worst, there were manufacturing defect, still they are asking me to pay for it. Don't buy hero just because to save some money as this bikes are cheaper but you have to pay it during service for sure. I have purchased in October 2020 and in November, I have faced engine oil leakage after inspection found it was a manufacturing defect, they took more then 1 month to resolve this and as usual I have to keep follow up though they have given assurance to call me back once the faulty part receives, but they never calls. Now after 3 months the self starter stopped working, they have inspected and found starter motor has issue, I have visited thrice but they are least interested to resolve it and told me to order it, I went to their store and ordered the item now they don't found my order and now they are asking it will be chargeable as you have opened it from other technician, I have not even visited other then this dealer m/s fort point, mahim. Now its almost 2 months they have kept it pending though my bike is under warranty. I just want to tell you go for Honda or any other brands, all are better then hero.

The xtreme 200r is comfortable better than other 200cc segment .The xtreme price are cheaper than other companies bike in comparison to 200cc segment. The main problem of this bike is to speed at 100 it like vibrant than other bike in 200cc segment. I love this bikes for its design and colour of good looking.

Worst wiring in this bike.
Service center persons don't have knowledge.
Company wiring in this bike can make you see demons. I had to pull my bike for at least 1 km to find a mechanic to repair it.
Company persons don't accept their fault.
Company-made wiring is of most local quality.. The hero should stop manufacturing high-end bikes.

Bike has too many problems, 1 engine sound problem, 2 seat comfortably bad, 3 speed not up to 200cc, 4 too much roughness, it's very hard suspension. You can't ride 100km continuously and it's only good thing is cost of the bike and it's looks good , i totally disappointed for this bike.
