Best bike ever in this price range and competes with bikes even upto 1.6 lakhs range. Hero has prioritized all the important elements and given supper quality emphasis on them. While compromising on not so important features to cut down cost. This makes it the best value for money for buyers. You are getting the goodies of a 1.5 plus lakh bikes in less than 1 lakh. The wheel, suspension, engine, chassis disc brakes, abs are premium class even though they have compromised of instruments, lights and stands which aren't that important because what has been given does the job well. Many inferior bikes are way much more expensive than this one because they are giving too much priority to not so important features like electronics stuffs, plastic decorations etc which increase the cost excessively thus giving less value for your money. You have to pay heavily on unnecessary blinkers and glitters on those bikes.It is the best bike in handling and performance comparing to any other bikes i have driven. The engine sound is so thrilling. Even though the top speed has been limited to less than 120, it makes up for it by the powerful torque output. It is beast in highways and even hilly areas because of that. Because of its excellent handling ability, it can take medium curves comfortably even at the speed of 80kmph which is impossible for most bikes. The abs is a plus that adds enormously to the already superb handling ability. I am very sure, that i can easily beat pulsar 220f or any other bikes under 250cc in any kind of road race. It has offroad capability. The bike has a perfect body weight to power ratio which gives a stable and confident ride even at a very high speed. Bikes like yamaha r15 are very dangerous because the weight is too light for its given power which makes it unstable in high speed and curves. It feels like like the faster it goes, the better the handling ability.Only fools will complain about the ordinary headlights, blinkers and speedometer. Let them pay heavily on other bikes for those expensive headlamps and get inferior performing bikes with double expenditure. Those modern gadgets don't last very long anyways and is very expensive to replace.The only cons that i have observed is the ordinary exhaust pipe. Didn't give 5 stars on looks and design because of that. They should have given a sporty and more premium one. The alloy wheels are first class including the wide tyres both front and back.Since i contributed money to help my friend buy this bike, i have ride it quite often. Actually i lost interest in bike many years back and went into indulge in cars as i grew older. But this bike has revived the passion in me. I am waiting for the new upcoming hero 300cc bike which looks similar but much more premium. I will test drive when its launched and buy it if is as good as i am expecting. Way to go hero! you have given the best for the customers and you deserve the best from the customers.Hero! keep creating more bikes like this one and you will rule the two wheelers market forever. Hoping it will become the best seller as people gets to know it. . Other company may now what pleases the eye of customers but hero knows exactly the need of customers. Buy it! satisfaction guaranteed ..

Purchasing platina would be a better option than to xtreme 200.

It was amazing no compromise with service. From every angle it looks great and one of my best bike in life within the price range. I think everyone those are dreaming for any sports bike they can buy it without any second thought.

Very bad experience with hero. I just waste my money. I suggest all never use hero bikes. They said they provide good service, but service is very worst.

The technician told me that problem was fixed. Hero not found the solution for front break problem. Very poor service give us by hero service station. They not take care bikes properly. I suggest no one purchase xtreme 200 r .. Really poor performance. As well as service station are very careless.

Hero is marketing the xtreme 200r as a performance commuter but one thing they have forgot ,to provide proper performance according to the segment. If they had intended to make this type of so much under-powered 200cc which can not even hold in line with a premium 160cc bike in a drag race,they could have produced a 160cc bike instead. Not only they made it under-powered and also provided a rev limiter .The bike loses its breath going past 90kmph speed. Its main competitions the 160cc bikes can return 45-48kmpl but it returns only 35-40kmpl , so what is the benefit of buying this machine ,just merely for a 200cc tag. even the engine is rebored from the achiever 150 but the original engine performs way better than this. The karizmas had lesser power than the xtreme 200r but they were gem of a machine in all situations,whereas the xtreme provides good balance,braking feedback,comfort,it is stable and nimble too. Upto 80kmph its performance is good but not the best in class when compared to its competitions. One thing hero needs to remember, their commuter approach to every segment is killing them in the 150cc+ category. They need to be more brave while coming back to the premium segments. I think hero engineers will pay heed to their loyal fans. I have never bought a two wheeler from any other brand but hero disappointed me in this case as the 150 xtreme was far better than this in all cases..Give proper product to us hero. We don't want any high displacement commuter but a good performance machine....Waiting for that....
