The design of the Xoom 125R is an extension of the Xoom 110, but features a beefier bodywork with lots of cuts and creases. The overall styling is very sporty and quite appealing. Adding to its sporty character, it rides on 14-inch alloy wheels.
The Hero Xoom 125R comes loaded with features such as full-LED lighting, segment-first sequential LED indicators, fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and more.
Suspension duties are carried out by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking system includes an optional front disc brake, while the rear gets a drum brake. The safety net comprises combined braking system. This Xoom 125 tips the scale at 120kg kerb weight and has a fuel tank capacity of 5 litres.

Very Stiff Shock Absorber.
Admin
Used this scooter around 500km, Seating position & wide handle are good, but I felt very uncomfortable. The shock Absorbers are very stiff. really feels the bumpy discomfort. They should provide smooth Suspensions like Jupiter or Ntorq. they are far better than Xoom 125. There is no vibration from the engine and body side like the Xoom 110. The mileage is average, only between 35 to 45. Body material quality is also average.

I have purchased this scooter, that’s why I'm writing this review engine is very noisy, and the performance is very weak, even less than a 100 cc scooter. And the service experience is very bad. I'll never buy any Hero product in future, and I'll not recommend anyone to buy it because Hero made the very worst product.

Hero Xoom 125 – Ek Taraf Se Behtareen Experience
8 weeks ago
Sharif Khan
Hero MotoCorp ne Xoom 125 ke saath scooter segment mein ek strong contender introduce kiya hai, jo style, comfort aur performance ka mix accha bana karta hai. Jo log ek stylish, modern scooter chahte hain jo daily commute ke sath kaam aaye, unke liye Xoom 125 balanced option hai. Hero ki service network bahut hai, spare parts availability bhi achhi hogi — maintenance mein pareshani kam hogi. Hero Xoom 125 ek aisa scooter hai jo tumhari daily ride ko swag ride bana dega. Agar tum college jaane ke liye ek stylish aur practical ride chahte ho ya dosto ke sath city rides plan karte ho, to Hero Xoom 125 ekdum mast choice hai. Style + comfort + performance = all-rounder scooter. Aaj kal scooter sirf commute ka jugad nahi hai, ye ek style statement bhi hai. Aur Hero Xoom 125 ne yeh baat prove kar di hai.

Xoom 125 is well-equipped with features like a fully digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, which provides turn-by-turn navigation, call, and SMS alerts. It also includes an illuminated start button, a front glove box with a USB charging port, and a boot light under the seat. Some articles note that the console itself is a bit small and could have been more modern (e.g., a reverse or color LCD). * Practicality: The scooter has a comfortable, upright riding position. While the footboard space is decent, some taller riders might find it a bit cramped. The seat height is manageable for most, but the wide seat could be a challenge for shorter riders. Pillion comfort is generally considered good. The under-seat storage is large and comes with an LED lamp.Points of Criticism * Build Quality: Some reviews point out that the overall build quality is "average at best," with "flimsy body panels" and "inconsistent gaps." The quality of plastics and switchgear is considered decent but not exceptional.

Worst Ever Two Wheeler I drove
Vikas Attavar
I am extremely concerned about the recurring issues with my scooter. Within just 2,000 km, the brake pads have been replaced twice, the high beam button stopped working, the rear brake produces noise, and there is noticeable vibration at low speeds (6–10 km/h).Most importantly, the brake problem nearly caused a serious accident — thankfully avoided by sheer luck. Despite multiple visits to the service centre and contacting Hero support, the problems remain unresolved.Riding is good but with these brake issues, it doesn't give confidence. I would have gone with my first choice Yamaha. Made a big mistake choosing Zero.

Such A Waste of Potential(Wanted it badly), Had to Walk away from it!!
Adithya B
I recently test rode the Hero Xoom 125, and it was one of the most anticipated scooters for me personally. Being one of the first lots to arrive in my city, I had been eagerly following its launch and availability — even regularly calling local dealers just to get a test ride. Our family needed a new scooter, and on paper, the Xoom 125 felt like the perfect middle ground: sporty enough to satisfy me, yet practical and refined enough for my dad to ride comfortably. For context, we previously owned a Gen 1 Suzuki Access 125, so the Xoom felt like a natural evolution. However, the experience left me disappointed.Let’s start with the fit and finish — both my dad and I felt let down the moment we got close to the scooter. The plastic quality felt almost on par with our 2007 Access, which was surprising (and not in a good way) for a 2025 model. I had high hopes for the build, especially given the marketing hype around the Xoom, but the execution didn’t live up to expectations. The test ride experience itself was frustrating. The sales staff’s behavior was dismissive, possibly because I looked like a “typical teenager.” The staff member insisted on sitting pillion during the ride and barely let me ride the scooter for 5 minutes, citing "no fuel, just came off the truck" — even though I offered to pay for the petrol myself. That moment showed how much I wanted the scooter, and how poor customer treatment can seriously sour a buying decision. In the end, I chose not to go ahead with the Xoom 125 and instead went for the new Suzuki Access 125 TFT edition. It’s not as flashy, but it nails the fundamentals with great refinement, smooth performance, and trusted reliability. No regrets at all — I’m genuinely happy with my choice.Final Verdict:The Hero Xoom 125 had the potential to be the sporty yet practical scooter in its segment, but poor quality materials and a lackluster dealership experience killed it for me. I wanted to like it, but it just didn’t feel worth it.

Not worth buying, finishing quality and metal quality is poor

Banti Bakshi
After 4 months, and second servicing with 3800 km running, I m facing serious issues, like ,, quality, and air filter box screw thread is eroded, cheap quality, facing gear belt issue while initiating throttle in traffic, like khat khat sound from belt, other issues like cheap finishing,l ow quality screw Rusting in inner parts and corners of the body is also visible etc, so I applied black Asian paint. My mistake was that I was the first customer of Xoom 125 in our city and didn't take test drive before buying.
