Style splendor plus has its one budget style, when you keep the bike clean and neat, it look gorgeous, but a typical college student should not expect a style from this bike.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox since it is a 100 cc bike, all the 3 categories will be in the positive side whn you ride the bike between 40 and 60kmph. If you exceed the 60, you will hear more noices. I am riding this bike for 6years. And i am getting 60kmpl as mileage and i used to ride between 40 and 55kmph and will be travelling around 20 kms per day and service the bike every 3000 kms.

Ride quality & handling both the categories are good. I feel the downside when i take the bike for a long journey like 50 kms without break. I felt discomfort from the seats. And coming to handline, this is a erfect bike for city rides and felt discomfort when applying break when travelling at 60kms speed.

I purchase a special edition with 2000 rupees extra. I made a mistake. From the next day I purchased, I am getting a problem with engine. Engine is getting off while driving. Hero moto corporation specifies 80 km/liter mileage. But i am getting only 48 km/l. And while braking alloy wheel getting a heavy noise. Among the above three problems one problem is also not solved from the hero servicing center. I went almost 15 times to servicing center. But no use. No mechanic gives a proper reply. All those mechanics are unprofessional. They are unable to sort out the issue.

Super comfortable for long drive and super pick up for racing i love it more...It was very less weight for riding all the children's and old person's. Easy to carry after falling down at anywhere on riding.Engine will be over heating when we can drive this bike continuously min 250km. Nice of riding this one. So happy..........

I am wriiting this review after approx 1 year of purchase of my splender bike, i have purchase splender last year aug 2013, but still my bike milege is not more than 45+, it is big disaponting for me, when i have on that time i have asked to representative about millege they have told me to it will give more than 60+, but actual its not at all. I am leaving in bangalore city i konw this is crowded city but even few months back i went on highway to check my bike millege after expriementing on millege the result come negative less than 50 kmpl.

I have did 4 servicing till now even those when i will visit the servicing center at idial motor at lingrajpuram. Every time i report that my bike milege in not good its giving below 45. They told me that after 3rd serving it will be more than 45+ but its not happend till date.

Ride quality & handling its good.

Final words if you have budget more than 50+ then i strongly recommend you to go for pulser because you will get simler millege.

Areas of improvement fuel milege shuld be more than 55+, headligh little bit should be stylish.

No doubt that hero splendor is a good mileage bike. Quality has been reducing day by day as the years increase. If you take the first model splendor, its petrol tank and the sound resembles re bullet. This splendor bs6 model is nothing near to it. Even tvs radion engineered to make the sound thug thug. No one in hero is bother to keep the same sound how splendor used to have. Second the petrol talk is very narrow. The tires are very small and don't have the confidence like the previous splendor. One thing to note is the service cost and the mileage are very good with this bike. As you know bs6 means fuel injection. In that regard hero has not done the job. The splendor bs6 fi i3s engine getting off while i drive. I am driving with 4th gear (speed must have been in 40 to 50 kms) and before me the bus is slowing down, so to down the gear i apply the clutch and then the engine gets off. I have met in so many scenarios where i would have met with an accident. Even though other bike gets less mileage, go for safer bike. This bike is not safe. I think here will not correct this issue because it has been more than 1 year they are silent. They have a huge customer base and their engineers are unable to get a good fuel injection system implemented in the old design engine.
Go for other bike in the competition and don't buy splendor because it is not so safe.

1 i bought hero splendor+ as on new launching plus series from m.R dealership.I select hero branding because it known for reliability low maintenance ,best mileage & better city commuting 2 wheeler for college going as per my requirement.2 i have been completed around 2 lakh km riding on my hero splendor+ since 2005 on city & highways for short & long rides.It s sitting posture is awesome & very comfortable seating on short/long ride.3 it's suits to all age group riders.Sober body design & multi color body graphics 4 hero has vast service network even in towns.Service experience is satisfactory.Very low maintenance & easily aftermarket oem spares availability from spare-part store.5 pricing, handling & mileage Under-power. Both drum braking not recommended because of safety issues.

When buying I got all the features explained by an advisor in the showroom.
It is a very comfortable bike with an amazing mileage of 70 to 80 kmpl.
The looks of the bike are simple and descent.
Maintenance cost is very low as mileage is high.
The advantage is that it is the best bike for learning as it is very lightweight and has low seat height.
The disadvantage is kerb weight is low so it is not so stable for stunts.
