Got mileage of | 27 kmpl |
Riding is comfortable for both the rider and Pelion. I rode it every day to the office in Bangalore traffic it gets a bit hot but it’s rideable. Performance is good it always has some torque to pull in traffic. I get around 22-26kmpl mileage I check with other riders and they are getting similar if you ride in Bangalore traffic. On highways, you can pull 30-32.I have not yet had the servicing done but a few people who I know told me it costs around 2700-3500 for the first service.

The average of the Mavrick 440 is 31 , as per the owners of the bike.

I am the owner of Maverick 440 mid variant. I have rode it appropriately 1000 km and I really like the comfort it's suspension provides also it's quick pickup to high speed in milliseconds. Everything is great but in summer sometime it heats up a lot near foots which should have been managed by Hero ! Although a great product justifying price with premiumness.

Best for daily commutes and long drives

The sitting posture, the body balance, the comfort, and the power are definitely among the best in the price segment. It feels amazing on the long drives, even after being a 200kg bike; the weight distribution is very good. I have completed 14000 kms, and the bike still feels like it has so much potential yet to offer with time. Sadly, Hero discontinued the model, but I am a proud owner of Mavrick.

It may not be that appealing to look at, but I think it looks very macho. Trust me, this machine eats potholes for breakfast. A very capable machine and excellent value for money. 30% more torque than the 350cc Royal Enfield. Sadly, this beauty has been discontinued in Aug'25. Despite that, it's my first bike, and I have not regretted my choice of buying it.

Recently, I bought Mavrick 440, a little bit disappointed with the design, but the performance was awesome. It is unbeatable in this price segment. The performance of the bike is so high with a top speed of 150 kmph. It is so better than RE classic 350 regarding speed and style. No one is giving a 440cc bike in this price range. comparing and racing videos in youtube with triumph400, RE classic350, yamaha r15, harley davidson x440 ,mavrick 440 comes 1st regarding its speed and torque releasing. Such a smooth and beautiful ride. Undoubtedly, Mavrick 440 is the best regarding its features and performance at this price.

Let's start with looks.1. You get the most attention with both looks and sound2. No difference between Harley 440 and this machine intermns of Engine sound. Ran both bikes side by side3. No unnecessary plastic parts. A solid and robustly built machinedon't know what Hero's idea was in bringing three variants. Top variant is all what just had to sell. Anyone who is going to shell 2L plus for a bike wouln'd think about buying spoke wheel bike( lol you may already have guessed where the inspiration might have come from)Anyways looks 9.5/10 clean and sharp looking bikeLet's get into performance1. Engine responds swiftly but won't rush. Gives the feeling of a composed and linear acceleration.2. Gearing is excellently done for city traffic. It won't feel heavy in 2 or 3rd gears. Except for the heat(c'mon it's a 440cc). Navigating in city traffic isn't stressful at all.3. Gear 4, 5 and 6 a re real fun, just open the throttle and you'll see the real beast unleash. It moves like a raging bull.4. I wonder what if it were a 4V engine. May have compromised mileage a bit but the current 2V engine has no complaints. Performance 10/10Other aspectsI don't see so many Mavricks around in the city and scares me a bit what's the future of this bike. They must bring some upgrades or new models and make some good marketing. At this point, I don't see them trying hard despite building a once a lifetime machine from Hero. Xpulse 200t 4v was a great machine. All it lacked was proper marketing and advertisement. It had all the elements to compete with Unicorn and Pulsar etc. They rather focused more in xtreme(another plastic rich machine) than this one. On the contrary yamaha has built fz-x, with almost similar specs but they didn't give up and they eventually started selling.

Bike is best for long route riding or mainly highway riding, it is the best bike under 3 lakhs. Segment, good brakes compared to other bikes, and top speed achieved is 145+I recommend you buy this bike if you are interested in to bike under 3 lakhs.

High Performace Machine

The perfect wizard

The bike is extremely stable with great suspension have tried all bikes in this range but the suspension on this feels different and great overall acceleration speed and everything is great just wish the ground clearance was 10 mm more would have made this a perfect machine and overall trip mileage features or the last liter mileage or like Yamaha liters of fuel per 100 km that mileage tracing would have been like platinum over gold features but it's great and must be recommended my friends also loved it.
