  • My 2011 karizma black zmr is lot better than 2018 zmr.....

    Balaji M

This new zmr 2018 is not good as old one. I have 2011 karizma black zmr which has very great attention & attraction, even today. The product has been discontinued in 2016 but nothing seems to be new, may be the new paint. Hero should have done at least little cosmetic changes to attract customers but they don't seem showing enough interest to karizma brand. The brand karizma was impressive when hero & honda was together, but not anymore. They have wasted two years without making any improvement to karizma brand. At one point, karizma is king but now the rivals have easily overtaken the brand supremacy. May be in future, i wish hero will do better design with karizma as hero have lot of potential with them.

Ultimate Riding comfort with a very good mileage. Riding for 5 years and around 55000 km. Long trip like 1000 km is completed without any problem. Maintenance cost is reasonable. But Hero has deficiency of Technicians in service center specially for this bike. But Remember this bike is not for beginners but for pro...

I bought my karizma zmr v2 in 2014.And as the tag line given..This is really "above all"It chases 140km/h easily compare to the other bikes in this segment. The raving sound as awesome as its design. This one have a bigger rear and front disc brakes than the other same segment bikes. This truly worth. Long rides are always most comfortable all the time in all seasons.Best pickup, best acceleration, best braking, best in doing stuns.Maintenance is also less because thus is two valve engine. And the best think i loved is this is so long bike than the others. In short all i can say is this one is the best sports tourist bike for 1.30lac.

  • Hero Honda Karizma ZMR , was the King on Road , but now its just History.

    Kushal Mhatre

My Karizma ZMR 2011 Still looks far better than this one.
    Riding Posture is fabulous.
Gives avg of around 40 kmpl .
Servicing and Maintenance is at the higher side.
current ZMR doesn't look attractive at all .
even LED tail lamp or earlier bike was better.
Hero - Please work on it guys, or ull lose the Brand Karizma.
you guys can also increase the engine capacity to 300-350 , add new features , ABS , Slipper Clutch , New eye catchy design Fearing, and compete with Ninja 300, KTM RC 390, Yamaha R3.
Please come up with the better Product.
The Brand Karizma means a lot to many people who have Ridden The Karizma and later The Karizma ZMR.

When i bought this this bike it was good. after sometime engine started showing problems like oil leakage . poor mileage, worst looks i have ever seen. hero should only make 100cc bikes. Brakes are not upto the mark.it lacks stopping power at high speeds.
tyres are also not good. rear tyre often slips on wet surfaces.

  • Karizma ZMR a bang for the buck!

    Siddharth

I own 2013-14 model ZMR. One should go for the bike for the following :-
    1.Low end Torque,
2.Linear acceleration ( movement of accelerator will directly proportional to the RPM, No lag in it).
3.Chain Cover:- Prevents frequent lubrication, and helps in rainy season to keep the lucrative oil from getting adsorbed with dust).
    4. Sarie Guard with foot rest:- A factory fitted Guard which helps to have pillion even with dhoti or sarie to seat property.
    5. Fully digital speedometer :-Amazing speedo with LED backlight.
6.Stability over 100kph mark. It has got good flaring to keep wind blast away.
7.Great Braking. 320mm at front and 240mm at back, makes a great combo to bring ZMR to stop .
8.Wide service channel and low cost parts due to indigenous production.
    9. Heighted sitting position, helps for tall riders.
And why you shouldn't buy it:
1.If you can buy Yamaha R3 or Kawasaki 300.
2.Not totally track oriented and moderate sitting position.
    3.Exhaust note is not great.
4.Fi gets damaged, big maintenance ahead.
    5.Vibrations after 8000RPM on handles.
