Hero ignitor, my 1st bike and the model year 2012. I am the 1st one to buy this bike in the gujarat and india, to buy my 1st bike i have visited many bike showroom this are the bike which i had through

1 bajaj-avenger, pulsar,discover

2 honda- stunner, shine,twister

3 yamaha- fz 2nd hand rx 100

4 tvs-apache, star

5 hero- splendor,passion,impulse,hunk,zmr,xtreme

Then suddenly i saw something new model in hero showroom that is ignitor and the newly launched ignitor at that time. I even liked stunner i even compare with both model stunner and ignitor.

But the showroom of the honda stunner asking more price as compare to ignitor. Then i went to other showroom of hero to buy blue color ignitor,but there were when you do booking for that color because that color was not available i was so hurry to buy because i am the was the 1st one to buy this ignitor red color model, sorry for long conversation .....

My riding experience with 1st bike ignitor and i like this bike so much

I even ride this bike with the top speed of 110km it can even go 113 km. This bike sound is awesome it sounds like lamborgini. Sitting on back seat is also good because this bike has split seat. With the price of between 62-67 rs we get street racer like ignitor 125 cc

It s looks are different from stunner it has digital and analogue meter

Performance is good mileage with 125 cc. Good servicing and maintenance hero gives us a free service for a year.

I have only pros for this bike

I love this bike good. I used this on daily basis as well as long trip of 2500 km in just 6 days. I have check in these day mileage, pickup, long run capacity, maintenance cost, part availability every thing is perfect and part cab be available easily even a local shop some time i have to fit some part of honda staner due to local area of rajasthan. Over all nice bike.

The power for the engine capacity is great.. Looks are astonishing ..

Engine capacity : 125cc

Power : 11 bhp

Top speed : 108 kmph

Mileage : 45 kmpl

In high speeds, the bike feels like it needs a sixth gear in order to deliver more power..

Resale value is too bad

Hero must consider R&D on this model and manufacture a modern commute with some more engine refinement.

I bought this after selling my unicorn 150. The first thing you will notice on this bike is its gearing. It got very short gearing ratio to accommodate 5 gears. It is probably the reason the bike didn't sell well. The seat is comfortable and wide, but the handle is short. I changed it to a wider one. Comfort increased instantly. 1 liter petrol will give you about 47 kms. It is not good for highway rides. Will vibrate above 50kmper hour. Overall if you can get it for a good price in second hand market go for it. Otherwise just no.

engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox: engine performance is good

ride quality & handling: if you ride this bike for 30 to 40 km you will feel good, but after 50 km it will be painfull for your back. I purchased in 2016, i like riding and also take my bike for long route, but it hurts in my back after 50 km, and have to take a brake to give rest to my back.

It gives me mileage around 60 km per litre, some times 65 km.

Since 9 years my bike is awesome and mileage is 62 km per liter. The bike is still roaring in Mysore. But the the color I bought is white, so while using the color is dull. Only changed the chain sprocket twice. The vehicle is very durable and comfortable for long drive, daily I drive 200 km per day. Thanks for hero motors.

In march 13 i have purchased this bike , and i think this s most stylish bike in low range by hero. Its silencer technique s good in heavy rain on road , and 3000 km bike service is another a good option in that time. Time in meter is good . No worry about engine complaints and suspension. Back tyre is awesome :)

I ride this bike last 2 years and that was awesome it smoothly run upto 110 top speed and give awesome mileage in city or highway good value of money i also have a bullet and a pulsar 220 but this was superb in all types of riding there is the mileage of bike gives a good value of money if you want an a sporty bike with good mileage then it was a good choice.

I brought this bike when it got released. I booked it in December and took in January. Buying experience is good. Riding experience : bike balance is great doesn't trouble you when you drive on rough and smooth roads. Quality : i wouldn't even give anything here, since engine had to be changes after 48000 kms, even after getting it service from authorised service centre all the time. Engine is being replaced for the second time. In 48000 kms, which is way ridiculous than any other bikes.Quality of painting is very poor doesn't even last 3 months and not covered any warranty, service centre guy clearly report that is how cheap it is designed and sold. And cannot be done anything. Not even repainting can be done for this vehicles.Maintenance is costly: since mag-wheel and complete set has to be changes after every 15000 kms. Which costs 8000rs for every 15k kms. For simple oil change and labour they charge 1200rs. And yet engine doesn't last long.Strength pickup: pickup with pillion is very less you have to always com back to first gear. Fibre always creates sound with pillion.
